Stupid ass question but I’m curious if it’d acceptable for mounted tires to sit on wheels in the garage for say 2-3 months. Garage is secure, no water/moister on the floor.

Gears will be coming once this Covid-19 bullshit passes, but I found a smoking deal locally on some STT Pros I can’t pass up. I’ll also be doing a lot of test fitting as well over the next few months before gears are put it so the hard part is out of the way.

UV is what degrades tires, so if they're out of the sun, they should be good for that long easily.

Checking air pressure is a given

Many people in the Northern States have two sets of wheels/tires. Winter set and rest of the year. You will be fine for a few months.

Tires have a 6 year shelf life and in the conditions you described they are more than fine for 2-3 months.

2-3 should be okay. Garage isn’t best unless it’s conditioned. Tire people know more:

I have the original 1973 spare tire for my Challenger... it still holds air. I think you'll be fine for a few months.

A Long Time............ I've had tires on stored collectible cars for 10 years or more without issue.
Old bias-ply tires will flat-spot after a while if not rotated, however modern radial tiles do not flatspot.

Well, they did have a challenger in the movie. Im excited to see her classmates faces when she rolls up to school in this, just 10 more years before she can drive it (ill be waiting in the parking lot to swap her car in and take this home)
