Are you talking specifically about the radar adaptive cruise control? I believe whenever you want to use cruise control without radar, you have to push and hold the button for cruise control for a few seconds and it will revert to standard cruise.

I LOATHE adaptive cruise control. I drive my dad’s tundra, and it took me ages to figure out how to turn it off. If anyone knows a more permanent way of disabling adaptive cruise please let me know.

Interesting that your TN was built in Baja. I’m going to pick up an OR in Bristol,TN between 3rd-8th, and curious to see what the stickers says.

For sure. Curious to see which of the two MX plants. Not for any reason other than nerding out on shipping & logistics.

You sure you don't have a temp vin?

I was always only ever given that one vin # so I assumed that was my permanent vin # since I was told it was already built

That's not a temp VIN (from what I understand), which indicates that you truck has been built.
As far as I know, until it shows up at the dealer there is no way to track your vehicle.

post the vin here and folks will be able to tell you if that's the case. I was given a temp vin and able to use that link UNTIL it was actually built.

I was told the same. My guy said that he used to give folks the tracking number that they use to track port to delivery, but he got in trouble for it because folks kept harassing the port ‍*facepalm*

The permanent VINs don't give build or shipping dates on that site...you have to get that info from your dealer.

That inventory list on this forum is not reliable for finding what you need. It changes with no predictability, so it's unclear to me what data it is actually pulling. You have to get shipping info from your dealer...their inventory specialist can answer your question with a few clicks.

I'm hoping those with a keen eye and understanding of vins will be able to tell you if it is built or if this is a temp vin. I do know that what I'm seeing is how it was laid out for me before it was built.

I haven’t been able to locate mine on the spreadsheet either. Spec sheet from dealer says 7/21 as well and I was told last week that it’s on a rail car and should arrive in a week or so. It also showed up on the dealers website, it wasn’t listed prior, and says “in transit”.

Maybe check that as well and see if there’s any changes to the dealers page

Here it is, you may want to count off the weeks. Mine took 11 weeks from day dealer received allotment, to dealer. :)

Your build is below. When this same info for mine showed up, it was at the dealer 18 days later.

I appreciate that. I have all of the truck info. Since my sales person isnt as excited as I am Im not really going to get any shipping info. I saw this post where everyone seemed to get more updates than " its on its way"

Im in Portland or picking up the truck in eastern Or when it gets here. It will literally be here within a few miles from me but I have to chase it about 200 miles to the dealer. This truck is coming from Baja ca, so do they rail it up to portland or does it go on a ship from mexico?

You might be able to try calling and asking for the inventory specialist. The worst they can do is say no, but that's the person who looks up the status of everything.
