How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Seems like folks are seeing ~3wk from build to delivery. Any major deviations from that? Bonus points if you're in the upper NE and can chime in!

According to the salesman:
Mine was built on 7/27.
Loaded onto a railcar on 8/10.
ETA is 8/30-9/7 (this is him guessing, but I expect he's been through a few of these).

Just placed my Deposit for 2022 TRD Off-road. Lunar Rock with blackout package, LED headlights, and tech package. Been looking for my first tacoma ever I am psyched! Should be in late September

 

September of 2022? A little confused on that. 2022 isn’t released yet and they are still in production of 2021s. I think they may have got you a little on the high hope wagon.

So a Pro or Off-Road? Lunar Rock for 2021 is only on a Pro and for 22 they should offer it on other trims.

 

I had to go double check the paperwork and thought maybe I was thinking 2021 vs 2022. Did I just put a deposit down on a false hope it will be here end of September? I have not been active on here so didn’t even consider it.

 

What part of US?

 

My original plan was a 2021 cement then I was told he could no longer get them and it was going to be a 2022 and they do not offer cement color way anymore. Fin

Just put it in today he said it will probably be around the 20th of August before I hear from him. Has not been allocated though.

I appreciate it, will keep everyone posted as I hear from him. Originally went in for 2021 in cement colorway and was taken down this path to 2022 from salesman.

 

I’m in the same boat as you. I actually placed my order for cement TRD OR mid June and July 16th was told it wasn’t going to make it and was asked if I wanted to switch to a Lunar Rock 2022. I said sure and On August 1st my order was accepted and have an ETA of late October early November now. I did order a MT so that probably is why I’m waiting so long but I’m not in a hurry so it’s ok. Don’t have much more info at the moment but I’m just going with the flow.

 

Sounds similar, I have a working car that has treated me very well so not too worried about it, just excited to finally get into a truck. Not to say I am trying not to count the days down, hoping everything goes smooth for us both. I ordered mine from Mark Miller Toyota in SLC, UT. I believe they are one of the larger dealerships. Hopefully it works to my advantage

 

If you read through this thread you will see quite a bit of what everyone has gone through and still going through. I hope that they can get production on the 2022 here soon but it may not be for a while. Just hope you are very patient and can wait for a while. Going on over 4 months myself and just got my temp vin and update recently. It won’t be here until sometime early/mid September. So that timeframe should give you an idea on what a lot of members are seeing. Just be patient and request updates. Don’t think you’ll get anything until you see Toyota release the 2022 on their website and then expect at-least another month or two after that most likely a lot longer.

 

I hope so too. I ordered mine from Longo Toyota here in Southern California. It will be my 3rd Tacoma I have bought from them and 4th Tacoma over all. Positive vibes for us both it works out.

 

Woah. My salesman said ~2wks post build for delivery. Now, I suspect that was highly optimistic but a month and I'm going to be going absolutely stir crazy! (I'm in central Maine)

 

Very similar to my story except I tried to order a TRD OR in voodoo blue. Ended up putting down a deposit for one in Lunar Rock, that was last Friday. They didn’t give me a date for anything yet
