Handful of Jersey people showing up in here.

Mine arrived at the dealer 3 weeks to the day from when it was built. Salesman called me around 0230pm to say it was due in any day. Messaged me pictures around 0430 of it sitting in their PDI lanes.

That gives me hope that I'll see it before the end of February. Mine was built on the Feb 4th. I've been driving a 2016 Camry for the last month. Nothing wrong with it, I just want my own vehicle back again and move on after the accident with my 17 Jetta Gli. I will readily admit, I going to miss that car. It went before it's time.

Dude, I rolled around in a 2009 Malibu LS with 198k on it for about 3 weeks. Kind of miss my 04 Pathfinder... just not the 15mpg, rattles, vibrations, and the fact that it had 175k on it. Was a great vehicle for the 6 years I owned it. Never let me down. Unless you count its disdain for brake calipers.

Oh I hear you on that. I left VW because I've always had their reliability issues in the back of my mind. Most of my family members have had Toyotas. Including myself when I first got my license back in the
90's. My Red 1992 Toyota Pick Up 4x2 ( Before it became Tacoma) had approx. 125K on it when I sold it in 2001. Bare bones, manual, vinyl seats and floors, and NO REAR BUMPER that was optional. That little red truck was a work horse. It's still on the road the last I checked but doesn't travel far.

Typical early 90s Japanese car. Had a friend who only bought CRXs and Civic hatches. None of them had two side mirrors. When I found out it was a cost option, I nearly died laughing. Thought I was cool in my AWD Ford Tempo with power everything. Too bad none of it ever worked reliably.

This is the week for me. I'm talking to 5 dealerships in 3 states... if none of them get allocated the truck I want, I'm probably going to bite the bullet and buy used.

I've decided if I don't get what I want, I'll just wait till the 23s are out. I'll just limp and bandaid my current $hit box for another year.

With how the used Tacos are being priced so close to new, I'd avoid that at all costs. Your situation may dictate though.

There is a truck with 18,000 miles very similar to what I want about 50 miles from me for 45k. It's been on the lot for about 3 weeks now. I'm going to see if they will come down to about 41,500 or so to make a sale.

Worst they can say is no. Even at 41k that's close to new, unless you are looking for very a well optioned unit.

Same! Saw it and just said "oh noes... not the MFT... "

It's just a Plain Jane TRD OR with tech package and the predator steps. A few years ago it would have been insanity to entertain paying around MSRP for this truck, but I have to weigh the possibility it could be the middle of the year before I can get a new truck at this point in my region. I'm patient but am concerned about the value of my trade in then and interest rates.

That's really close to new MSRP. My sport was 42k, predators, hard tonneau, mud guards, LED and tech.

They had a 17 OR on the lot with 49k miles on it. Premium pack and nothing else. They wanted 41k for it. That right there pushed me into a new Taco.

Arkansas. I've talked to dealerships here, Missouri, Tennessee and a really good one up in Bloomington, IL ( 9+ hour drive), in the hopes that one of these regions will get a TRD OR DCLB in AGreen, Silver, or MGM.

Congrats! They can put in a request to the factory to change the color - it just may not be accepted.
