Nice rig! Now it's time to spend 5 - 10k in upgrades and add-ons. Your CC & bank account is gonna hate you. :)

correct that is the only incentive here in the PNW unless you are a repeat customer and have good rapport with the Sales Mgr, they will give you $ 500 off msrp.

Picked it up Friday morning in Denver, CO after waiting since October.

Drove it back, and immediately got after it with the mods. Did interior leds, total tail v1, trd pro grille, etc. Doing wheel and tires next weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Mountain States Toyota. The whole experience was easy and a complete delight. And I got it under MSRP! I am over the moon about it all. Dream come true all the way around.

Tried waiting for a OR M/T in LR with a Tech Pkg but they are just not coming in fast enough. Had to settle for an allocation on a LR OR auto with no Tech Pakg. It is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I took the extra money and added the TRD Lift Kit, Aluminum Running Board, TRD Skid Plate and TRD Bronze wheels. Scheduled to be built 3/14 with a delivery date of early April . I wanted the SR5 TE bronze wheels but those are impossible to get.

Listening to all of these stories about settling for something other than the exact Taco one wants makes me so glad I put my deposit down long before I actually need the truck. For those of y'all who need a new vehicle in this class today, ouch, I feel for you.

I've been on the wait list since sept last year. Unfortunately, the Lunar Rock in that configuration are extremely difficult to allocate and Toyota is not taking orders. This is the first Lunar Rock that my dealer is receiving. I've reached out to every single Toyota dealer in MI, and they all do not have the Lunar Rock, and those that "do", when you call them it is always the same story: "Vehicle is no longer available can I interest you on a SR instead?" lol. You want Barcelona Red? Silver? Black? all day, these are all over. But Lunar Rocks? very difficult. After thinking about it, I am ok without the Tech Pkg. I am happy with putting that extra money else where. I just need to figure out what to do with that chrome rear bumper. It is the only thing I am not happy with, nonetheless, I am very excited and looking forward to the day it is delivered.

I was on the waitlist for 2.5 months for my lunar rock. Came in almost to the day it was promised. It’s worth every minute of the wait.

Have them stripped and painted. If I couldn't get the tech pack, this is the route I would have taken.

All I get from my salesman is the "we're waiting on the next allotment info" story from my salesman. I put a $500 deposit down on an SR5 on 1/23. He says they don't have a temp VIN#...wonder if I'm getting jerked around. I'm inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I am dealing with a car salesman.

He’s probably just being honest. The dealer is waiting on the allocation to see if they’re getting anything matching your request and don’t have anything on the horizon. Way she goes.

Be patient. I told my sales guy what I wanted at the end of last October. He called in December to say it had a January 3 build date. He called on February 10 to say it had arrived at the dealership.

Has anyone been denied getting on a wait list with a dealer due to distance? I live 100 miles from a dealer that just told me that they are only taking orders within 25 miles due to the inventory shortage.

Does anyone know if you can swap a Limited grill (with camera) with a TRD Pro grill?

I am. Ordered from Windward on 3 Jan, was told April build with a May/June delivery. Not sure how accurate that build month is that they told me, since the general consensus seems to be that manuals are only built every three months. Several posts on here mention March being the next MT build month, but really not sure how accurate that info is either. Who knows. I know that our "ordering" process is different than the mainland, so maybe that has something to do with it.

What did you order and from which location?
