My white Off Road with auto/cloth seats was built on the 19th and delivered to the dealer on the 23rd. I paid MSRP, tax and license. Call John at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa, California, he was a great help though the whole process.

I love the truck and will post pictures in a couple of days.

Here it is, 44k out the door:

Just dealt with one of the most easy going salesman that was recommended by another user on this forum. Told him exactly what i wanted, he called me back within an hour looking at future allocations nationwide for that setup and gave a realistic timeline of when I expect to see that build. They do sell to out of state customers and they do not price gouge over MSRP. It will be a 1,000 mile trip back to my house, but will make a memorable vacation/experience out of this ordeal. From speaking with other dealers over the past few weeks, I feel this guy knows the allocation process well and may have a connection with Toyota for how to request what a customer has ordered. Will have spent that plane ticket/fuel/meals costs at a dealer elsewhere with a markup, but would rather spend that on a trip for myself and give an honest salesman my business. The dealership is in Kansas City fyi...

ACLB/Manual 6spd/Lunar Rock/LED Headlights only. I'm excited and now the countdown for ~4 months takes place. Acura CL is going up for sale next week to make room in the garage.

Hound him.. my advise, hound him. Every Monday call him till you get your truck.

I'm not saying it's not possible, last year we drove 1000 miles for a lunar rock pro 4runner... and it was late by 5 days.. in an extremely small town in Nebraska.. but he was right. And we got it.. did he give you a temporary Vin? That's huge if so

    Love your optimism

Someone else posted their Pro has a March 7 build date. Hopefully March 7 is Pro build day at the factory. I have a deposit on a week 9 Pro so I’m hopeful to see mine built that day.

where? I'm waiting on that exact build since 11/24 and 1/7 with ZERO allocation or anything from two dealers in FL. I'm about to just take the first off road they offer me.

So when does a vehicle make it into the kissmygritts/flatdata-vehicle-inventory spreadsheet?

All of the TRD Pros currently in the spreadsheet have an 06 build week, as does mine, and the numbers keep creeping higher but it hasn't reached mine yet. I have the real VIN number but when I dig down into the the Build Toyota site using the developer tools there is no eta. I also don't see things like mileage and tire pressure populated in the Toyota app. As of last week, my dealer indicated my truck was due in port on March 4 and it would be at the dealership 7-10 days later. If the truck hasn't made it onto this spreadsheet yet, is it feasible that the truck will be delivered in the next couple of weeks?

Just trying to figure out what this spreadsheet actually indicates.

Our MGM Pro is a week 9 build scheduled for 3/7. Wife put the deposit down May '21. We were expecting a wait, but almost a year is a bit ridiculous. So long of a wait that paying cash is now an option.

If you want to send me your vin, I can check and see if there is an official eta listed for it

I "heard" the Pros and Trail Editions had issues that needed to be worked out with the TSS so production was very delayed on those models. True or not, who knows.

I wonder if that also affects DCLBs with the advanced tech package? or possibly something to do with the added height in the TE and PROS

I referred Arcticdc5 to the salesman, I've bought two Tacomas from him. Hounding him with weekly calls does nothing. He told me when he placed my order, told me the build date, and told me when it arrived. I was patient and didn't bother the guy. 4 1/2 months from order to delivery. He said dealers usually only get 24-48 hours notice before a vehicle arrives on the lot.

Alright I need some help. I got a week 9 temp vin from my dealer last month, so it should be getting built this week, at least I think. How are you guys following the process? I’ve got the Toyota app and have entered the vin in it but it’s no help. Should I post my temp vin here and see what y’all can figure out for me? Some of y’all are way better at this than me I’m just trying to get some info lol.

Mine had a 5 was told it was built on 2/14 and is being processed (guessing los angelese) said should be moving to freight this week assuming that’s shipped to Arizona. That shouldn’t take to long maybe have it by next week?

I went into my local dealer here in Kansas City on Saturday feb 26 2022 and put down a deposit on a trdpro they had no one else in line for one and called me yesterday 3/1/2022 and said they had the truck I wanted in their new allocation. It is the exact truck I told them I wanted. They had informed me that they get no choice in color. I don't have a build sheet yet but I will keep posted.
