    Skewp is worth it.

I kind of did the same. Was sold on buying an OR, just couldn't find one that didn't have a 5500$ Premium package, or one that wasn't silver, mgm, black, or blue.

Very happy with my Sport. Definitely don't regret it.

Cool, thanks. I was starting to worry because those two digits in my permanent VIN are 48. With everyone getting 04s and such, I thought mine was lost somewhere! I'm trying not to bug my salesman, both because I'm trying to act like an adult rather than a child trying to find Christmas presents before the big day, but also because not appearing as the latter might help in any negotiations/add ons, etc. I don't want to appear to be chum, attracting any and all sharks.

When I paid my deposit a couple of weeks ago, he said mid-to-late March. Barcelona red OR DC SB AT, also has blackout (is going to look sweet on the red I think), navigation, tech package, sill protector, LEDs, bed lights, and lots of other stuff I didn't want but...MSRP so I went for it. At first I passed on the Barcelona red (was looking for one for the grays) but then I saw one in a parking lot and it was HOT. I'm 54 and this will be only my third new vehicle (two of which will have been Tacomas!)...can't wait!

My vin ends in 481908. What was your build date? I was told 1/28 was my build date, but like you, they have no idea where it is, still in F status no ETA. Getting pretty antsy here, especially with my finance deal having an expiration this month.

no idea on the build date, it already had a permanent vin when I put down my deposit. Mine is still in F status, no ETA... However I can confirm that your ETA doesn't magically appear if you check several times a day.

I picked up my 07 build date today! Welcome to the squad. The pre-runner will have to get sold but it’s fun to have all the toyos for now. The neighbors are probably like WTF.0716AF51-B6AC-49DA-9B00-0BD0483D8755.jpg

Not even a question for me, Lime Green Pro any day. It doesn't help that I think mustangs and most "American Autos" are junk though. I used to be GM guy, born and raised. I then I fell into a great deal for a cheap Yota beater truck, needed something to go hunting with that I didn't care about. I bought the 1991 for 1700 cash with 287,000 miles. I drove the snot out of that truck until the day I bought my 2005 TRD OR. When I parked that truck it had 396k miles on it and it still ran as good as the day I bought it. Ended up selling it for 500 to a guy, I bet he is still driving it. LOL. Anyways it was that truck that made me realize, constantly having to repair your vehicle is just a GM thing or "American Auto" thing.

Spot on bro!! This truck is shinny. But will still be clicking long after the Shelby is rapped around a tree, or dead in a mechanics lot

I'd love to tow it out of a ditch some day.

Thanks. That is exactly what I am seeing. Not sure if the dealer is getting more up-to-date information or not. Guess I will wait to see what happens when the 4th roles around and see if anything changes.

This made me laugh. My father-in-law was a Ford guy. He asked my wife how the service department was a Toyota. She replied "I don't know. We never really have to take our cars in for warranty service." He knew the service guys at Ford very well. He was in there service department every month it seemed with his brand new vehicles.

Man this thread has given me serious anxiety haha. Have a 2017 OR 6MT now with 32K miles and figured why not take advantage of the market and trade in on something new. Not in need of a new truck now but I obviously have the itch at this point. Put a 1K deposit last week on an AG OR 6MT with only tech package and LED headlights. I was told be prepared for 6 months but the more I read on here with how allocations work it seems like even that may not happen. At this point I am just hoping to get an allocation before the redesigned model comes out...

That is an unfortunate truth I realized a month or two ago. I figured it was because they're making wads of cash on cars out there right now.
