This one is bizarre to me, my ‘13 Mazda3 MT has push button start, why not my MT Tacoma?? Surely they can figure out CSC with a push?

Only have to worry about resale if you plan the resell…

Short answer YES I am getting cold feet. Have thought about all of it and even freaking lost a little sleep over it.

Yes they might take a nose dive in resale value in the beginning. But let us remember that high gas prices have happened before and people have panicked and taken a huge loss trying to get out of "gas guzzlers".
Making their situation worse than it already was. Gas prices will stabilize at some point. That's why I'm getting GAP insurance. Even though I'm putting down more than 50% of the MSRP. Better safe than sorry.

I had to wait 5 months for my 2022 Pro. I was looking for a 2021 in the beginning of 2021 and had no luck so it turned into, me looking for a 2022. The moment I could put my name on a list I did (October 2021).

As a taco driver the last 15 years i know the mpg not great but historically the resale has always been great and of course its a taco. Dont have second thoughts. I dont know your driving needs but this truck is a great truck thats going to last years and years. Gas prices gonna hurt temporarily. Theyll level off at some point but the greatness of your taco will last a long long time

They might have pulled my truck for "Quality Control" or they put it on a Dyno to do testing like they do most new vehicles. At least that what my understanding is.

Do you have an ETA? It might be in a port awaiting and "Port Installed Options" near you. For instance I know VW has a port in Newark NJ. Where they install their port options and use it as a staging area. Awaiting your dealers next delivery window.

It very well could be sitting in a local port then or still sitting in Mexico awaiting the next Bus out of there. I have heard there is a 2 to 3 week stay while those options are
installed. Be glad you dealer called you. I'm still waiting for mine to call me.

I think if I had not spent over 3500 in mods on a truck I don’t have I may have held off buying right now. I am sure everything will change as soon as it arrives and I lay eyes on it. Will forget all about the price of gas. Lol

If prices get TOO high, I have a 1974 VW Super Beetle that needs some exercise on nice days. Not my first choice to drive a 48 year old car to work, but gotta do what I have to do.

My ETA is 4/1 to 4/6. I very well could be on the same transport. If my ETA should change. I read on here that it may do that.

I do have a 2006 Scion xB that I have had since new and has 185000 miles on it. It gets 35mpg so that will stay my commuter and drive the truck on special occasions.

I regret nothing. I’m getting basically what I paid in 2016 for my trade in and paying MSRP. I also don’t commute so I’m not worried about gas.

That SCION should easily have another 100K left in it. It's still a Toyota.
