How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I guess you should of talked about the extended care warranty when you placed your deposit?? My dealer tried to add close to 3000 in paint protection, interior and some security. I said no and they said ok and I gave my deposit on my allocation.
Only thing you can do is say no and see what they say.

 

This is the new dealer strategy for market adjustment. Just makes it appear that the customer is getting something in return when in reality its a small bottle of teflong wax that gets rubbed on and off and a can of 3M scotchguard that gets sprayed on the carpets (used to detail cars/trucks at Ford and had to do this on a few cars where the customers got talked into this snake oil scheme). You can try to say no, but depends on the dealer. Have walked out of dealers after they showed me that "mandatory charge" just as I was about to place an allocation order. Good luck.

 

I also experienced them trying to add on a "premium protection package" to the tune of about $700. This showed up on my allocation spec when I was allocated my truck. I told my dealership I wasn't going to pay for this ... BUT, I would be happy to swap another accessory at equal value - so I had them add the TRD Exhaust instead. So I had them remove this protection package and the floor mats and add the TRD Exhaust.

 

How long after real vin showing up did people start seeing gas and air pressure readings

 

My truck was built 2/12 and is supposed to be at the dealer this week and I still have no gas or mileage on the app. So I have no idea.

 

And you have the real vin in there? Not temp?

My salesman has been in contact with me though out the process with reg updates. It shows my truck showing up at the dealership this week so I am not really worried about it. Patients Danielson. Lol

Those of you waiting on your trucks to be delivered that activated your connected services, is there a way to only activate the Remote Connect trial? It seems like the app is only letting me activate them all at the same time.

 

I tried to activate remote connect and I have to have access to my HU, according to the Toyota App to finish setting it up.

 

Only thing i didnt activate was wifi

 

So how did you activate remote connect without the HU?? Can you see the door unlock/lock status of your truck?

 

No lock or unlock. All i see is tire pressure and miles. Also it hasnt updated since feb25

Yes I see fuel, miles (2), and tire pressure. I accepted the remote connect agreement but can’t activate it without plugging a code into the HU

 

Just got a call from my dealer, he said that they received word from Toyota that my Tacoma would be here "anytime now". He said that means within the next 7 days. Mine was scheduled to be built 02/12 and ETA showed up as 03/22-28.
