Well the journey has ended for me today. Just got home with my new 22 truck.
So I put a down payment on the allocation Jan 22, 2022 build date on the temp vin was 06 and was built on 2/12 so right on time. Delivery was supposed to be 3/8-3/12 originally but got pushed to 3/16-3/21 and was delivered today. Truck is perfect. Was super nervous but am in love with it so far. Paid MSRP + TTL so total OTD was $44,168.48 only port option was led bed light with no other add ons. Only took an hour at the dealership to get everything done. I highly recommend Rodland Toyota in Everett WA. Good luck guys and hang in there.

okay, question for the experts, and anyone else willing to lend their thoughts. When will 2022 Tacoma production end?
Put money down on a AG DCLB Limited, with trifold tonneau top, mid December. I live in Minnesota, Dealer is Rudy Luther Toyota.
Do you think I'll get an allocation before production of 2022 models ends?
Give me your thoughts, predictions, odds of getting the truck I asked for.

    Thank you.

My temp vin just stopped working yesterday on guest.dealer.toyota.com. It was a week 11 vin so it seems to be right on schedule. I bought it on 2/18. It's a DCLB Sport 4x4 in white w/tech package and a couple of other add ons. Pretty much the 2022 version of my 2014. Dealer told me not to expect it until sometime in May. Looking forward to getting it and already pulling together a bunch of mods.

My dealership told me it’s getting harder to get TRD Sports and that they thought they might be stopping production of them at some point soon. Just passing on what I heard.

Just picked up my truck today from Longo Toyota. 2022 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 Double Cab V6 Engine 6-Speed Automatic Transmission 5-Ft. Bed in Celestial Silver Metallic.

11Feb2022: called Longo and put down $500 deposit to get on the waitlist for an allocation. Told the sales guy I wanted a DCSB TRD Off-Road with tech package in Lunar Rock or Silver, whichever gets here faster. Was told it could be a 3-6 month wait.
26Feb2022: emailed the sales guy asking if there were any updates regarding my order, was given an approximate build date of 10Mar2022. No VIN or temp VIN issued at this point
    10Mar2022: Radio silence
13mar2022: emailed sales guy asking for a update, he responds saying the truck is built, provides me with the VIN, and that it will arrive at the dealership the night of 17Mar2022. Its the exact truck I want in silver and with the tech package
18Mar2022: Show up to dealership, do paperwork, drive away

It’s definitely hard to find a DCLB TRD Sport and nothing would surprise me at this point. I’m glad mine looks like it’s moving forward and just wanted to let others know. I’d love a PRO but really need the DCLB so that wasn’t a option.

Seattle Area. Looks like the truck is here. Saw on the remote that truck was filled with gas and had a couple of miles added to it.

Scheduled to pick up the truck tomorrow.

Just my observation but it seems that most people who have a finished build and it sits forever without app update (gas/pressure) seem to be sports… maybe a part issue…those hitachi shocks?

i hope this is just me being paranoid
