How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

10K? Where are you shopping them? One of the other posters mentioned in FL most of them were selling for MSRP.

 

I just said, lol. Its Hanlees, in CA. There are only 2 of them on the Kissmygrits list currently. I'm not really shopping, was just doing a last minute check. There aren't very many manuals out there. Also, aren't most of the ones in FL 2WD?

 

Picked up the truck this afternoon, everything worked great. Next status will be adding “we-owe” stuff that they wouldn’t install until we purchased the truck. Talked to our sales guy and the dealership (largest in the state) is not getting any allocations for Tacoma, Sienna, Highlander for the entire month of April. He also said Toyota is cutting Tacoma production another 20% (based of dealer communication from Toyota). Totally rumor, so no guarantee about information reliability. Just happy to get the truck with everything working.

 

Update from dealer today. Truck is on the train. Truck now shows up as sale pending on the dealer's website with estimated delivery that matches developer tools 3/31-4/5.

Final update: bc of the excel sheet I found my Tacoma. Flew from tampa to Atlanta yesterday at 6 am and bought my OR DCSB, lunar rock with tech package and a bunch of shit I didn’t want like interior LED upgrade, extra usb outlets and charging package, Tube steps, and I wanted LED light and advanced tech. But beggars can’t be choosers. First “order” end of November, followed by one in January. Now to try and get my $500 deposit back

Yeah I recall them mentioning a lot of 2WD stuff going to FL. Strange times these are! I wonder if people are actually paying the 10K markup.

 

Dealer had told us build date was going to be 3/7. Temp vin disappeared from app on 3/4.

Deposit down in Oct, dealer said they have been told truck will be built soon. Could be another 3 months before it gets here. So looking up to 8-9 months all together for our PRO up to Canada. Getting slightly under MSRP, so don't mind waiting. Better than trying to buy a couple year old one for $10k more than what a new one costs.

 

Yup mine was 2/14 now looking at 4/21 instead of 3/16 then 4/07

 

How close did you get to each eta before you noticed the eta changed? My eta is 3/28-4/2 and initially showed that eta on 3/01

No there are none coming soon. That exactly what I wanted. Put deposit on premium OR with Tech package then found a advance tech in kansas. Thought about it for a day then called to put deposit on it and it sold already. I called 20 dealerships and found 3 of them coming same day as mine but all sold already. I was able to find another truck like mine in kansas Premium OR with Tech so everything but trail came essentially.

 

Funny thing is I put a deposit on 11/10/21 at Groove for AG stating I’d accept black or silver, too.

I pulled it 3/21/22, and never once was I offered a vehicle.


But FWIW, I received a pricing menu from them and it was MSRP.

 

Truck just popped up on the app today for the first time at 7:11am. Has 1/8th tank of gas and 1 mile on the odometer. Where am I at in the process if you guys had to guess? Truck is at port and waiting to be delivered? What do you guys think?

 

6 plus weeks for me. Haven’t had an update on the app since 3/12 had 4 miles then 5. Maybe one mile is still on the boat.

 

Damn that is discouraging lol. Was really hoping I was maybe a week out. The waiting game continues.
