How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I only sacrificed the advance tech package with the front cam/trail cam. I got everything else I wanted including color. I only wanted LR. I called a TON of dealers and had “allocation request” at several in Texas. We don’t see as many 4x4 right now so I called 8 different states and called and check daily until I found mine.

 

Ya i didn’t want them either and they dropped them with out asking at the port instead of waiting for them to come in.

 

I ordered December 4 (Orleans, Ontario) and a few weeks ago was told it was expected April 30 - May 10. Last night I got a call from dealership that my order was cancelled. No more army green TRD Sport. They do have a Metallic Grey coming in with my name on it. I didnt care for any of the options the Sport Premium had, other than army green, so the bright side is no burning/freezing with leather and I get to save $2500.

 

I have been stalking this thread for a while waiting for my truck. Just picked up my new 2022 Offroad in magnetic gray. I put a deposit down February 26 for an allocation. Dealership stated a 3/15 build date, which was accurate. Dealership notified me that my truck was being processed at port on 3/17 and they took delivery 3/22. I am in Arizona. Traded in my wrangler JK so excited to try out the Toyota life.

 

Tacoma markups are nothing no more whining .

 

Did they build it on site lol mine was built 2/14 and have another month to go

 

haha. The guy at the dealership said that some trucks are made outside of Baja and they have to ship them instead of driving them which would take longer. Not sure which trucks he was referring to.

 

I picked my up this afternoon. Stock right now but tomorrow I will install my Diamondback cover and change some badging. SEMA TRD wheels and Goodyear Duratracs on Friday.

 

What does you vin number start with? a 3 or 5?

Your truck was deff made in baja then, I dont think they make tacomas anywhere else for the states right now. They're definitely a backorder on parts tho so maybe thats what holding up some trucks. My dealer told me that they're waiting longer for the final delivery when the trucks pick them up from the train.

 

What about Guanajuato?

 

Are they still making them there? Honestly forgot about that one, I think they're still building them there since that was the plan behind stopping in San Antonio.

Just bought a 22 4Runner for my wife, searched for three weeks and only found two dealerships selling at MSRP within 200 miles. Most wanted a deposit to get on a waiting list, and I was being told 3-4 months by some. I hesitated on two different inbound 4runners at MSRP, and both sold the same day they came available. Ended up getting a call for one I found on Truecar, it arrived Friday night and I signed for it the next day. Way too much interest in the car from other shoppers as I was going thru the paperwork, ended up paying about 1k over MSRP.

 

4runners were always like that. I bought a 2016 trail premium that year and every truck that came in was pre sold or sold within minutes of reaching the lot. It was so frustrating because we were chasing leads for weeks and kept missing out.

 

anyone know what this means. Went there monday and they said they have to register it for me then I will be able to pick it up. This was a new notification yesterday
