Yeah I’m in the same boat. I didn’t decide to start looking for a new truck until early last month, so I’m also afraid I’m at the “bottom of the list” and won’t see the truck for a long time, if at all. The Lunar Rock trucks seem pretty rare in my neck of the woods. The OffRoad I initially “requested” is built out almost to TRD Pro accessory level, so I’m only really compromising on color and a few more thousand dollars. I’m dead set on getting back into a manual truck, color is secondary. I’m just glad it’s not red.

You will love the truck. The transmission is beautiful and a joy to drive. Exactly why I want a new one so I can future proof myself against whatever Toyota will do for the next generation.

If you get frustrated waiting for your build just remember there are many of us just waiting for an allocation to see if we will even get a truck haha. At this point just give me a VIN. I'll take the wait haha :bananadead:

My nervousness will not go away until I have a key in my hand lol. I heard the clutch pedals are made in Ukraine and therefore MT's are done for the moment. (This is a joke!) But in all honesty, in todays world its fair to be nervous.

I agree. It doesn't help that my sales rep on my closest build isn't being very forthcoming with info. He said as of yesterday it has been "allocated to be pulled", whatever that means. I believe I understand the allocation process pretty well but I'm not sure which stage this would be. I've asked for vspec and temp vin but he says he doesn't have one yet. But, he is the owner of the dealership and a friend of a family member so I am hoping that he's shooting straight with me.

Has anyone heard of add-ons being installed at port in Mexico?

I believe that's where it happens. It was the wheel of death for what wanted. Everything coming my way had at least $1000 worth of add-ons so I've passed on 2.

Does anyone have any idea what "allocated to be pulled" might mean?

Where did you hear that? Ive never heard of that. Unless someone just had no idea what they were talking about, to me that sounds like it there could have been an allocation for a truck that will no longer be built so toyota is pulling the allocation

Sounds similar to a dealer that told me my allocation was "confirmed with Toyota". Probably meaning the allocation request was received by Toyota, and now it's up to Toyota whether they move a suitable truck from assembly to that dealer.

Dealer sent me the spec sheet with VIN, pulled it up on the app - ... miles, no fuel reading. V-Spec just shows spec details, no other menus available. Guess I'll check again in 5 minutes. ;)
