How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Odd how the vspec works. My app shows truck mileage but still can't pull up that info. Can click on the others posted and see the info...Maybe a regional thing. I'm in the SE toyota region. Another possible option is to try this...

Scroll down to the bottom, range goes out to 100m. and put in zip. Not sure if trucks are spoken for but you can see what is out there and at the top will show dealers within that distance. Could start with picking your close distance of 25m and then look under dealer listing at the top. It would then show what is potentially within that range on the left and could choose each dealer to see what they should be getting. You won't see info as the vspec but do see an "available date" in the bottom left of the pic and then vehicle info as it would be on dealer website. Hardly any OR access cabs but saw several manuals and a few LB within my search area.

 

Dealercategory g should indicate that it is close for the guy correct?

 

Curious, are you using the updated Toyota app? I have had the app downloaded since 3/5 and could see tires, gas, miles but never had notification of door being unlocked. My notifications are set to on. My Toyota app updated about a week ago (IOS) and since I can't find tire pressure. Only see miles and gas. Also, do I have to do something to get notification of doors being unlocked?

I didn’t notice that before. Seems like it should be. Have others had theirs get to “G” without an ETA?

 

There was another thread where the consensus seemed to be people who have don't have push button start aren't getting the same info as folks who do (even though we did in the old app). Hopefully it gets fixed in a future release. I would suggest going into the app and submitting the feedback form.

 

Yeah, I screwed up. Should have done 2-3 other ones in October.

 

Well my dealership called me up today and said their getting NO trucks in their allocation, no Tacoma's or Tundras.
Instead the sales guy is checking if I'd be interested in a 2021 with 4k miles on it. Going to go check it out this afternoon.

 

If i get that call, i'll tell them to keep my deposit for a 2023, or i'll just buy a F150

 

Call a different dealer. Sounds like he's trying to just sell you the used truck instead of risking losing your business or waiting too long.

 

Might be off topic…but I just called a local dealer to order my wife a new vw golf r…the guy literally said 2 year wait and 26 people ahead of me.

 

The 2 year wait seems a bit excessive, but VW is behind. That ship sinking didn’t help them any.
With the Golf R and GTi being the only Golf that the US gets now, one would think they would make them a priority.
Not to mention the competition they will get now from the new Corolla GR.

Yeah heard the same out here in AZ from a few dealers.

 

I had the same thing happen here... that new app is garbage. I searched around and found out that you can still see tire pressure through the Apple Watch app, if you have one.

 

Friend of mine in southcarolina is building a home there she's been waiting almost a year just started. I asked the builder how long is the wait now they said over 2 years. Interest rates could be 12% by then.
