Looks like with the new update from a few days ago some users are having issues viewing it. Just saw a comment from Toyota about it on YT.

I'm curious if others know what US port Guanajuato-built Tacomas would arrive to for dealers based in the Cincinnati, OH area. I seem to have lucked out last week by contacting a local dealer while searching for a '22 TRD OR MT. They had one allocated which had not been reserved and I jumped on it. The build date was supposedly 4/6 and I have a delivery window of 5/7-5/12. Current dealer category is "A" on vspec. I may be extremely optimistic in thinking that it's already on a ship bound for the east cost...

Well after a week with my new Tacoma I will say it is definitely worth the wait. So those still waiting, keep your heads up, you're gonna have an awesome truck.

Agreed, you can try and get them to take that off but my experience is they won't as they usually have a line of people waiting and can use it to draw more people in. Never hurts to ask though. It's just there way of not marking up but marking up.

So, the base price for my truck went from $37,830.00 to $38,255.00. That is a $425.00 increase from just last week I believe.

Mine changed too but went down instead of up. When it was built there was an option that they didn’t add on for some reason, maybe supply chain issues. Did you notice any additional add ons after the price jump?

Probably just a base msrp increase which I heard was coming as I mentioned in prior post expected 12% increase on redesigned model.

For those that had numerous deposits out at what point did you start asking for refunds? Now that i have one that is built coming with my name on it I want to pull my other 2 deposits to start buying upgrades but I am not so sure that's a good idea until the truck is in my driveway.

I would pull the deposits if you have a confirmed build, you’re closer than the other two - and it will open up the market for others, help others out after you’re confirmed IMO

There is a mandatory TRD Premium Sport option on White TRD Sport now but when you click it and agree to it, it adds another $4,615. So I didn't notice any other costs that was added.

I wouldn’t sweat it, they’re under the microscope from Toyota. Orders have been pretty straight forward across the board… i haven’t heard much funny business if you put in an allocation request. I’m also seeing inventory picking up locally. Dealership called asking i wanted a TRD off road 6 MT for sticker just over the weekend(i obviously said no because i got mine already) so things are slowly but surely cooling off.

In my case, my salesman always referred to it as my truck. When I took delivery, there was a printed sheet of paper on the dash saying "Reserved for (last name)". I was in your boat, when I had an inkling the truck was getting close, I pestered my salesman until he basically promised on his life that they weren't going to sell it to anyone else without my permission. I feel bad in retrospect, but it was his fault for giving me his cell phone number. I'm sure it is "your truck" at this point.

Haha! I do feel good as he did email me a deal receipt with all my info along with the trucks VIN and build info. On VSPEC it still shows "isPreSold: false" but that is probably nothing to worry about.

They may be referring to the 4th gen tacoma. Which would make sense, I’m not sure a 12% increase on a 2016 built truck with minimal electronics is the right route considering the competition. Just my opinion.

Anyone with a week 11 or 12 build know if yours was actually built yet? I am currently sitting on a week 13 build that was delayed and is now scheduled to be built next week. Looking at a few week 12 builds that were listed in this thread, it looks like those are still waiting to be built. I have a deposit down on a DCSB lunar rock TRD Sport right now but I am also talking to another dealer w/ a Barcelona red DCSB TRD sport M/T that is scheduled to be delivered next week that I could jump on.
I have no problem w/ a manual but my wife REALLY does not want one. I'd prefer the Lunar Rock, but the red, blue and army green colors were right up there in my top choices.
I was hoping to have the truck by early June for a camping trip but who knows if my order would get here in time.
