Week 14. Passed all the 12 and 13 builds because it doesn't have tech. Or so I assume.

Weird. A few of the week 12 builds and my week 13 don't have the tech package either but still no word. Now my dealer isn't returning my emails either for the last few days. Guess I'll have to call the sales manager today to see whats going on.

Yeah idk. The part that stumps me is why I was told end of June yet vspec says early May. I understand wanting to be conservative but a month and a half? Seems very strange. Please post any findings from your phone call.

I should mention that mine is also a MT. So maybe that has something to do with production moving faster? No idea.

My impression was temporary. Toyota was cutting production to allow the supplier to catch up, then production would return to normal...or at least whatever "normal" looks like these days. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried the search function before I asked this so my apologies if it’s common knowledge.

How are you all accessing vspec and getting these updates? Is this only a program that a dealer or Toyota employee can access or can anyone access it? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Look over the above. Seems to be hit or miss depending on if you have a permanent VIN or not.

Yeah, things are starting to move fast I guess. I just got a notification warning from my credit service report. There were three credit inquiries, one of them from the dealership plus two other finance institutions.

I think the only way you get the permanent VIN is from the dealer. Maybe it's a good sign your V-spec doesn't work with the temp VIN.

It took me a while to figure it out b/c I'm on a Mac

I had to use Firefox to pull up VSPEC

Then "Control" and click to get the menu and choose "Inspect"

    Next select the "Network" tab.

Reload the URL page to get a list of options

Look for a line that shows up that's YOUR_VIN?Vspec=true where ˆYOUR_VIN is the VIN for your truck

This will populate a bunch of data in a section of the page to the right of the line you just selected under a "Headers" tab

In this box, you want to select the "Response" tab.

In this box you will see the dealerCategory: "X" where if "A" means Allocated, "F" means freight and "G" means ground.

There is also a section called eta: that has a from and to value to give you the expected date of arrival at the dealer

    Hope this helps

Could one of you look up a VIN for me? 3TYCZ5AN8NT073734 Nothing showing up for pressures or fuel. Not sure I'm looking in the right place on the app, and not sure if it's an "A" of an "F".
