How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thanks to TheDude and KnoxTaco. Not exactly sure where the train/boat is headed, the dealer is just outside Philly. I'll wait to bug the dealer until the change to "G".

Damnit, yesterday my dealer sends me an updated that its on a train that is only a 2 hour drive from the dealership, and today vspec updated and changed from 4/14-4/19 and now its 4-18-4/20... was so excited hoping for today or tommorow.

 

Ordered my Off Road Pro Dec 30th. Was told March delivery. March was told May deliver, now told "unknown delivery date". Yippeee - NOT

 

Every dealer around me except one is charging 5K+ in markup costs. The one that is strictly MSRP is pretty transparent that the wait is 4-6 months. I put down a refundable deposit with them on 2/23 and so far not too optimistic. Reached out to a friend in a neighboring state who says I'm on top of his list and has committed to no markup -- but no ETA.

Using the kissmygrits list, I found a DCLB OR in Lunar Rock over the weekend. Placed deposit and now it is supposedly mine. It's about 3 hours away. I only have the temp VIN just now, but I'm able to see it in the Toyota vspec. Salesman is telling me it's going to production this week and slated for delivery ~week 3 of next May. I'll update as things progress but hopeful this one won't disappear out from under me.

 

thought my app was glitched... been on F on vspec for 15-16 days but everything on the app was N/A. Reading 2 miles on the app today with an almost empty gas tank... eta is 4-17 to 4-19... not sure how to check tire pressure on the updated app

does that mean its on a truck even though it hasn't switched to 'G' yet?

Here is my info on my PRO. Build was first week of march, processing was 3/29, truck depart was 4/1, then dealer sent me a screen shot that showed current status - status.category.allocate vessel departure and estimated arrival 5/4 -5/9. I checked today and is says eta is 5/3 -5/8. still shows dealer category (A). WTF

Did u request the bed lights or was that a port add on?

 

Sales manager told me its still scheduled to be built on the 22nd. He also said that it should only take about 2 weeks to get to them after its built. From Baja to Wisconsin in 2 weeks? I'm not so sure on that. It'd be great, I'm not getting my hopes up though. They're a high volume dealer, but that seems like a stretch.

 

How often is allocation day again for dealers? It lands on the same day for all correct?

 

For my dealer it’s every 2 weeks. For them it coincides with the truck deliveries. Their next is supposed to be the 25th and my truck is supposed to be with it. It was supposed to be the 11th. We will see.

 

Production this week and delivery end of may? I wouldn't hold my breath. 2 months from production seems to be the norm, maybe you are really close to one of the ports?

 

Mine was production at beginning of April, and delivery date has fluctuated from beginning to middle (and back) of May.

Up in New England too, not sure where they come in here by train.

 

My ETA finally popped up again now saying from 4-18-4-20. Still in "F" but getting close!
