Finally, got some good news! My sales guy called me up and told me they have an allocation for a Metallic Dark Grey Limited with the Nightshade package that they can put me down for.
Hopefully should get some additional info tomorrow on it!

Saw a few more week 12 temp VINs stop working on v-spec today, so it definitely seems like Toyota is finally catching up on their backlog. Week 13s should be next week. For those wondering, two were TRD ORs with tech package, one was a Sport.

I also agree that this is probably dealer BS. I spoke to my salesman this morning, and he again reconfirmed that my MT order for July build is still good. Toyota Hawaii communicates directly with the factory, so I can only assume that he is telling me the truth. At the end of the day though, who the fuck knows. Until we see something official from Toyota (not a dealer) on MT production, I think we need to take any rumors with a grain of salt.

Well looks like another delay. This time a "couple more days". Damn supply chain/trucking.

This has been A since March. Yesterday went to F and today G. I saw it before the dealer called!

This happened way too fast. Now I need to find a buyer for my car by tomorrow or just settle for the dealer trade-in.

Yep I've been watching VIN#'s on the SE Toyota inventory site and saw a week 12 go permanent VIN. Expecting to see my week 13 go permanent next week. Sold my 2019 Ford Transit Connect (work vehicle) today. I had it listed on AutoTrader and Craigslist. Ford dealer from central FL called and made a solid offer. Purchased it new late 2018 for $25,000 put 38,500 miles on it got a check today for $27,500.00. Stupid.

Did they offer you more than it was going for on Autotrader? I have a 2016 Ford Focus ST. I wonder if I should see how much Ford would buy it for lol

Had it listed for $30,200.00 expecting somewhere around $27,000. Carvana and Vroom were at $26,500.00.

Actually had another local dealer offer me $28,500 about 30 minutes after I agreed to the $27,500.

Maybe if I ever get it.
Finally got my truck. "Ordered" it on Nov 2/21, at which time I was told it should arrive in January. My guess is they got an allocation in January. I nearly bought a Colorado a couple of weeks ago when it looked like the dealer was stringing me along, but decided to wait a bit longer. Nearly six months to get a truck, with none of the vin tracking info you guys get... if Toyota Canada wants to run dealer inventories lean, they really need to improve the customer "ordering" experience.

Can you describe what the week designation refers to? Wondering what the 12 and 13 imply. Also wondering where and how to look up info. Please and thanks. ;)

One of my co-workers used to to work for Ford....he says GM really stands for "Great Mistake". Also, what are the steps for looking up the status of a truck using the VIN? You looked mine up for me, and I don't want to pester you...thanks again!
