Well, congrats to everyone her that has received their '22's! I've had mine for a couple weeks I think, maybe a month, I dunno anymore... I'm not a pregnant female I stop counting after so many weeks. But it took about 3 weeks for mine. Mine was not direct from the factory though.

Here was our timeline: had the introductory "we'd like to buy a vehicle" chat with the dealership in late September. A few phone calls between but the first allocation with a DCLB in Army Green was during the week of October 21, we placed a deposit at that time. Drove down and signed initial purchasing paperwork on December 4 (truck arrived on December 3) after which it went into the shop for some dealer installed options on December 5. Shop work was finished on December 9th, we had it home that afternoon. TL;DR: 1 month, 15 days after deposit.

Thats what I told him, I even pointed out Toyota literature for the lift says $1400 and 8 hours but they say it's a ton more labor. Even at $2k I thought it was a little high but liked the idea of it being under warranty. I can add 5100's and the grill myself for under $1k which is what I'll do.

At the dealer picking her up. 6 months, 2 wks. Offroad Premium Package, DCSB, 6 spd, Army Green.

For sake of continuing the earlier convo, it has Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires. Never heard of the Territory AT, but its not far off the old Duratrac tread pattern and has Kevlar ‍♂️

Anyone else experiencing delays? Mine was originally December 1st to 9th then to the 9th to 19th and now 19th to 29th. Not the end of the world by any means but just interesting...

The tread pattern seems the same as the old ones from the pics on here, the tread pattern Goodyear has for it is totally different.

Thats exactly why I was trying to see if they were any better than the old Kevlar's that came on our 17'. Since they aren't I'll ditch mine right away as well, last set I sold for $650 and got 265/75/16 BFG's for $800, no brainer for me.

    My timeline so far.
Connecticut. TRD Sport, DCSB, Wind Chill

11/27 - discussed options, price, etc. (MSRP plus mandatory rust-prevention)
11/30 - deposit; told it would take 2-3 months for truck to be built
12/4 - dealer called to say a similar truck was inbound to the region, but I passed because it had a bunch of extra stuff I didn't want (and didn't want to pay for).
12/8 - dealer told me truck is getting built in early January
    :bananadance:

My sales rep said virtually every vehicle they've received this year has been spoken for before it arrives, but now they're starting to see more incoming inventory that's available. Hopefully things are starting to normalize?

Collecting mine on Friday morning. Arrived at dealer last Friday. Started process with dealer on 11/17 vehicle was build and in transit, arrived at dealer on 12/10 and collecting on 12/17. Prior dealer started on 9/10 and they finally contacted me after ghosting me for a month on 12/6 and was told vehicle would arrive in late January. I told that dealer to refund my deposit.

Tomorrow will be one week of ownership for my 2022 Tacoma. I’m very happy.

I had a delay of a week for mine as well. I also had the TRD lift installed at the dealership to get the full warranty. They quoted me $2100 for the kit and install but it ended up taking them longer than anticipated. They stuck by their quote and ate the time/labor. Advised the next lift they installed would be more $$$ based off mine. I’m happy they didn’t charge me more.
I also got the Goodyear tires mentioned above. I’m happy with them now but will be upgrading tires and wheels after Christmas.
Again to those waiting I hope you get good news soon.
