Looks like mine will most likely pass a straight-ish shot north through Laredo TX and onward to me in Cheyenne WY.
Union Pacific has a railyard in Cheyenne and a larger one in North Platte NE.

At least one of those waits is for accessories to be installed, I would've been fine with not getting the tonneau cover (which I didn't want in the first place) if it meant me getting it a few days or weeks earlier.

I put down a $500 deposit and signed a purchase agreement end of January (MSRP $38,870). A week later the same build was $39,070. Just checked today, same build is $39,520. Any chance when my truck finally gets here, I'll pay what I agreed to? Or has my MSRP just gone up $650?

I have a dealer purchase agreement with all the numbers on it with the temp vin and the reciept for my deposit. Every car I've bought in the past that's the way it was done and that's the number.

Does anyone know if the "Build" or "Built" date is the same thing? I have seen both terms used. Also does the term mean that is the date they start to build the truck or is it the date the truck is completed? I was told a build date of May 20. Thanks

If you have a VIN, and there is a letter in the last 6 characters, it's a temp/pre-production VIN...but it will tell you your build week. For example, if your VIN is 3TMCZ5AN7NM14D143...the letter D indicates a temp/pre-production VIN, and the 14 before the letter D indicates it will be built week 14 of the year. However, some supplier issues and production delays have kinda wreaked some havoc on that. For example, my Tacoma was supposed to be be built during week 14 (week of April 4), but got pushed to week 15 (week of April 25).

I don't know that dealers really know the exact build dates. When I was told April 4 (and then April 25), I assumed it meant during that week...not that specific date. So if you were told May 20, I would assume it means the week of May 16...so sometime between May 16-20 your truck would be built.

I'm not sure if my truck is in long beach, but I do know I finally got mileage in the app and gas. No TPMS though.

ya my ETA is still gone and the last update was that the truck arrived in long beach at the processing center, only updates I have seen is via the app where milage increased and tire pressure changed, so Im hoping this is a good sign that maybe its on a truck....or train...or stork... at this point ill drive to long beach and drive to NM myself....

Haha I feel that. They kept opening up the doors yesterday, so I assume it's getting loaded onto something which is progress to me! Did you notice if Mileage or TPMS were shown first?

You can add the truck to the toyota app and see these things. I'm not sure if this is only available to those with remote connect or not.
