Congrats! This would be great but I'm not holding my breath for a quick delivery for my week 13 build... Which was FINALLY built last week. Just found the permanent VIN on the dealer's website yesterday.

Hello everyone. I up in BC Canada and was wondering if anyone in Canada or in the US has received a 2022 TRD Pro yet. I made my order for a 2022 TRD pro in electric lime back in the first week of October!! its now May and my last convo with my dealership here has told me July as possible delivery date. How much longer is it going to be haha. Just crazy how long its taking.

Don't pay a cent over MSRP if you can avoid it. Each dealer I've been too, I've told them flat out, if your dealer markup is $2500, then I want $2500 more for my trade-in. All said no, so i simply didn't buy from them. I'm sure they sold the truck to someone else foolish enough to pay the adjustment. I just don't need a car that bad. I don't care about a new car that much, it's an appliance that depreciates. I can guarantee you won't see that markup value returned if you go to trade it back in, in five years.

I am in Louisiana close to New Orleans and a few weeks back my salesman sent me a picture of one that was on the lot. It wasn't actually allocated to anyone. It sat on the lot for about a week before it sold. I'm not sure how it took that long to sell in this climate... but wow.

Longo is supposed to be "the biggest" Toyota dealership in the U.S, if not, the whole world. So I'm assuming they get way more allocations.
The salesman initially told me 4-5 months but seems like everyone is getting theirs a little bit earlier than expected wait-time.
I am looking at other dealers, but I have not had any luck with any yet. The only dealer I found that had the vehicle with the spec I'm looking for wanted a +15k mark-up. Yikes.

Where do you see this change to "G"? What does that mean? I see posters saying F to G but I'm not sure what that even means. I have a 5/7 build date but don't know what changes to look for.

I have a question, when the app shows tire pressure and mileage does that mean the vehicle has max it to port state side? My status still says F

My truck started showing mileage and tire pressure in the app before going to freight status in Mexico when they loaded it on a train. Over 3 weeks later and still no change though.

I’m glad we have this thread it’s like a support group for all the Tacoma maniacs, I hope actually owning a Tacoma is half as good as Tacoma World if so I will be very happy

    You're welcome.

I must like to torture myself. A year ago I was going through this same situation waiting on a Tesla to be built, VIN assigned and shipped across the US. That took 6 weeks (much better than current lead times for the same vehicle).

I'm trading my 2016 4Runner in on this Tacoma because I can't turn down the trade in value (trading in for almost 90% of original purchase price). I will wind up getting a new truck with zero miles for about $10k after TTL. I figure owning an indestructible truck running on petrol along side an EV is the best of both worlds. I will miss the 4Runner. It's been 1000% reliable with basic maintenance. I hope the Tacoma proves to be as good.

Yeah I just sold my 2019 Tundra for the same reason and I have always wanted a Tacoma, and for what they gave me for the tundra I Figured this was the best time to let that Tundra go, it was a great truck but the taco is gonna be awesome for getting out in the mountains up here in Montana..
