Sorry, one last thing and I'm sure I can find this in the thread but might be easier if I ask.

What exactly do these letters represent? "F" mean in transit and "G" means delivered?

 

'F' - freight (train/ship)
'G' - ground (delivery truck)

From what I've seen 'G' means your truck will be at the dealer within a few days, potentially same day.

 

A - Assembly (Still in Me-he-co)
F - Freight (Boat or train some where between Mexico and leaving Port)
G - Ground (On a car hauler)

Lia Toyota in Albany NY just called me yesterday and told me they had a truck that I believe meets all of your specs allocated. I turned it down, because I want the 6' bed.

 

You're welcome. Land marks will be when status changes. Mine has been F since 3/26 when it left the factory. It's sitting in port, waiting for a hauler since 4/21. With diesel prices the way they are probably waiting for a full truck load to make the haul worthwhile. Not a lot heading my direction, I reckon (WV). Waiting for that G...

 

My sales lady told me ETA of May 6th-10th and was told it hit the rail on May 2nd.
Also, I added my VIN in the Toyota app and it doesn't even show any mileage on the odometer yet. I'm in Illinois and I'm really starting to doubt mine will get here this month.

 

The dealer just broke a record for me... they are $20,000 OVER MSRP

 

Holy shit, I can see why they wanted you to come in first. Either you buy that truck with the markup, or they pressure you into buying a lower model if you don't want to pay that.

 

Yeah, they said they "could do $10,000 over with a trade" - I said PASS. Sigh - the search continues.

 

I think it may be nearly impossible right now to get any TRD Pro (let alone a lime green) without ADM unless you go to a dealership who can "place an order" for you and wait/pray that they get an allocation for the specs that you want.
