How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    FML.
    Got the call I didn't want... I'll have to wait for the 2023 TRD Pro for a MT in Canada. No timeline for now.
    Salesman said they were building the 2022 for another 2 months and then they're switching to 2023.
    I'm quite disappointed! Even looked at Jeep's but that's a 5 months wait too. FML. :/

    I did get receive a “Buyers Order” listing the VIN and stock number. But why have a vehicle with the same VIN listed for sale on the dealer’s site? Interestingly enough, I Googled the salesman’s Russian explanation and found a Toyota parts supplier was hacked in February causing additional delays to production.

    To get people to call the dealership asking if it's available, so they can try to sell them a different vehicle.

    Mine's listed on my dealer's site, but it is marked as pending sale.

    I'm hoping the damn delivery with my truck came in last night, it should've been in Saturday night but the driver never showed. Drove through the lot last night at ~8PM with the wife to see if it was there, nope.

    The dealer has no guarantee that you will actually buy the truck. You could walk away for any number of reasons. They're going to advertise it regardless of you having reserved it. That doesn't (or shouldn't) mean that they will sell it out from under you. Additionally, it allows the dealer to potentially get business from other interested buyers. Someone may call interested in your truck after seeing on their website, which the dealer will then advise is already reserved, and redirect the customer to another available allocated vehicle.

    Is the "build" date" when truck is completely built or the date which they begin to build? My salesman couldn't answer my question. Approximately how long does it take the factory to build a Tacoma OR? Thanks

    None yet.....
    Don't be so sure about that 2-4 weeks for us in the southwest. From what I've seen on here lately, people in the midwest are getting them faster than us because when they get to Long Beach, they get put on a train. For us, they get put on a truck. Lots of trains and no trucks apparently. Mine arrived at Long Beach on 4/27 and is still sitting there, waiting to get on a truck to go 280 miles to Las Vegas. I could have pushed it there by now.

    Anyone in here ordered a Tacoma at Toyota of St. Charles in Illinois? Just curious because there's an SR5 in there that had an ETA of 4/17-4/22 but the ETA is now gone and the Vspec is still at F. It makes me really anxious and nervous because the Tacoma I ordered had an ETA of 5/5-5/10 and it looks like there's now a big delay and I need mine before I move out of state this month :(

    Hey @Rod03 would you mind checking this VIN for me please? It was on the dealer's site with an ETA after mine but it's no longer posted. Still shows "F" in the vspec though. 3TYCZ5AN2NT075091. Was it delivered already or maybe it got traded to another dealer?
