Yup...even removed & re-added the VIN just to be sure I didn't screw something up the first time.

Strange since from my estimation I think our trucks are on the same Rail. Mine does show ODO: 1, Gas, and PSI's.

My app shows 3 miles and PSI readings of 35 PSI and it started the same day Rod told me it was loaded on rail from the port. So we are getting wildly different instances where the app is active or not based on what I am reading in the last few posts.

I believe the truck has to be driven a certain distance to register PSI. Just like all cars do, so if it’s driven around a corner and up a ramp, that’s not sufficient time and distance to read it’s PSI.

Probably the same with the Odometer not showing anything since it's probably less than 1.

My PSI is 35 all around also. Must have been the same person who did yours also. The PSI didn’t show up until mileage showed.

is it possible that the 3g service or however it connects to the internet is disabled on the truck? Mine has been unloaded from the rail and is just waiting for truck pick up for dealer deliver and my Toyota app shows zero miles and no psi reading.

I could be mistaken, but I think that the Toyota Connect Service is independent from the AT&T Hotspot that can be used with trial/purchase. I wouldn't want to have to pay for Toyota Connect & the hotspot just for Connect to work.

Called my salesperson today. My trd off rd 4x4 dcsb with tech package was built on 5/5 and shipped by rail from San Diego on 5/6. His eta to Newark NJ is 5/24. He said it goes the entire way by rail and then on a car carrier from Newark to the dealer. The dealer is in northern NJ. We'll see how accurate he is in a couple weeks but at least it looks like it's on the way.

Thats actually quite reassuring because I was skeptical when my salesperson told me that my truck is apparently here on island at our local pier in Hawaii. My Toyota app has been reading N/A since they gave me the VIN. Hopefully they call me soon because these few days of waiting is starting to make me agitated about waiting for the call lol.

I'm just glad I had enough patience in me to not make a dumb decision to buy another truck instead of a Tacoma...

I enabled the Toyota Connect Service but not the free wifi and I have been able to see the mileage and tire pressure updates so that matches with what you were thinking.

Yeah I'm sure both the hot spot and connected services uses the same 3G line but what I'm trying to say is what if the actual "3g device" in the truck itself is disabled or obscured from getting a signal? then it wouldn't transmit anything, right?

Yeah that is definitely possible. With how all over the place the tracking is who knows what is happening at this point. I fully expected to just never see any mileage or tire pressure show up after seeing many other people say that. But about 2 days after my dealer updated me that it was getting loaded on a train the mileage updated. Seems there isn't a "normal" for anyone right now.

Quite a few pages back someone mentioned how to find out the dealer number (the 5 digit number) of a dealer from their website. Does anyone remember, or can explain it again please?

This is so I can check some other local dealers on the kissmygrits allocation data site.

    Thanks in advance!
