How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Yeah it's been very frustrating. There was another Tacoma on my dealer's site that was built a week later than mine and it arrived at the dealer last week.

 

The Lunar looks awesome!!! But just the other day i saw a white and it looked amazing so i think you cant go wrong the white is a cool look i I wanted a white but they had a mgm or 6/m so i had to snatch it up so we are all in your boat lol, I originally wanted the lunar as well... but beggars can't be choosers lol I just want to say we all got to chip in and hook @Rod3 up for being such a bad ass American and helping all us neurotic taco maniacs through this difficult and exciting time lol

 

where on the vspec does it show arriving in port i didnt see that on mine?

 

My salesman finally got me my permanent vin number after my temporary vin number quit working on Thursday.

If I'm reading the VSPEC correctly, looks like it's showing "A" status.

Glad to have a permanent vin# to play with if nothing else.

 

You’ll be in A status for about a week then switch to F.

I’m on day 4 of F status.

 

what do you mean quit working? I have my temp VIN entered into the Toyota app. Can I expect the vehicle to stop loading when my temp VIN “quits working?”

Also, wasn’t your VIN a week 19 temp? I have a week 19 temp VIN as well.

How long did it take before your app started to show air pressure? My Toyota app updated two days ago with 2 miles on the odometer, but no tire pressure reading. I'm wondering if it takes a certain amount of driving it a couple times before the tire pressure reads on the app...

 

Thursday of Build Week 19 mine started giving me error messages in both the VSPEC link and the Toyota app which slowly degraded. Once yours starts being built or completed it should switch over and you'll have to ask for an updated vin #. My temp vin had NT in it which is the central Mexico plant, if that offers further scope as to why mine may have moved along before yours.

 

Interesting...it seems like when the Toyota app updates is all over the place. I'm still seeing status 'F' on mine, so I'm assuming it's at Logistics Park (but I don't know for sure...I'll bother Rod in a few days if nothing more updates).

 

I think both of our trucks must be sitting in LP right now waiting for a truck pick up to head to the dealer. Mine has been sitting there since 5/13 when it finally got scanned but per Rod, it seems like it's been sitting there since 5/2.

 

Rail arrived on 05/10 to Long Beach, waiting to get on a truck now.

Mine was in Memphis. I got notification from the dealer it was put on a truck yesterday afternoon and the app showed a tire pressure update. It arrived to the yard on 5/9 so it sat a little over a week. Hopefully yours will get moving soon!

 

Rail departed from Long Beach to ABQ yesterday 05/16.

 

I requested my allocation back in Nov '21 for a TRD Pro in ELM with the 6MT. I still haven't heard a peep from the dealership except "you're at the top of the list!" - which isn't really reassuring at all, since I was originally the ONLY one on the list...

I've contacted a few dealers in the area with varying degrees of success and/or willingness. At this point - I won't say I've given up yet - but I've resigned myself that it isn't seeming likely. At least, not this year.

I can see the spec sheet but nothing else on the allocation list. Did you get it from a delaer in the Southeast Toyota region?

 

@Sleezer I'm just seeing this. "F" just means its in freight so it could be staged to be picked up by a train or boat or unloaded. Mine was "F" all the way until it was loaded onto transport yesterday and never changed to "G" like a lot of other peoples. Now my V-spec page doesn't work anymore.

 

Got alert for doors open and odometer shows 3 miles now. Getting closer!

 

Yes. North Carolina. They have been telling me it's still sitting at port. Sitting there since March.
