I was actually surprised I was able to get Lunar Rock tbh. It was a 3 month wait for my build. Worth it.

I'm in the Chicago area. Not sure about @Saluki22 and @NCTocko. This is frustrating after how long we've already waited.

Yea it seems like the trucks get on the rail fast enough then nothing. I wonder if the QC holdup is just a blanket excuse for the lack of trucking to get them to the dealers. They might figure if they tell you 30 days you'd stop pestering the dealers for updates. They can just kick the tires once and call it a QC inspection.

Too bad we can't just go get them ourselves. Finish the paperwork right there and drive it home.

It does seem really odd. Who is doing the QC inspection? A Toyota person, a railroad person? I'm just trying to imagine what this process must look like and I can't figure it out.

If I could find one for a reasonable price I'd probably buy one, I'd prefer to find one sitting on a lot.

I was admiring a Bronco Sport on the road today, for some reason it looked good in Cactus Gray. The 2dr Broncos look good in CG, and I thought the color look nice on the Ranger in XL trim. I wouldn't mind seeing CG on a F-150 Tremor just to see how it works.

The AC OR looks very good in LR, congratulations!

I was in contact with my dealer a few hours ago, they indicated my truck and 2 others going to my dealer were on a hold. Mine and at least one of the others were week 14 builds (that were delayed 1month to boot).
I had a feeling this hold was news to them also.

Put a deposit down on October 23rd with an allocation request. My must haves were Army green, LED head lights, locking rear differential, and manual transmission. Was able to pick it up today finally 7 months and 4 days from the beginning.

Mine was built on the 23rd too. Coming from Baja. Currently in F status but dealer says it’s still processing. I’m in Utah.

I was just being an ass.... Seems to be a wide range of wait times, hard to say.

Called another dealer yesterday, I now have 3 deposits, 1 since Nov21. The fourth dealer wouldn't even let me put a deposit down for an allocation that asked for advanced tech, they even went on to say a longbed request most likely wouldn't get accepted. They said if I wanted a ACSB that would be my best chance for an allocation. After some research though, this dealer is also asking for the close to $3k over MSRP on vehicles, so I opted not to leave a deposit for a DCLB.

It really does look like I will be getting a 2023, but who even knows if an advanced tech package would be available by then, I mean things won't magically change come next year's build.
