Thanks, man. Any sense of how long things take from San Diego to dealer? Know there must be a big range. I’m just in Tucson so I’m assuming it should be pretty quick to get there but maybe I’m assuming wrong?

Definetely helps being closer to the port, should be less time than the average.

Ordered my TRD OR last week of March. Was told 2 weeks ago it would be here first week of June. Salesman just called and said it was built, but not at the port yet and the port (Houston) was shutting down for 2 weeks starting June 1.

Picked up my 2022 Taco TRD Sport 6-spd standard in Lunar Rock 2 days ago after waiting for 2 months for it. It was part of the allocation inventory. I had to go out of NJ to PA to actually find exactly what I wanted with the options I needed. I got super lucky with the options that the truck came with since none of that could be requested/edited, since Toyota manufacturer does not take orders nowadays and just does allocation units.

Anyway, these are the options that the truck came with: Lunar Rock with 6-speed standard trans., LED headlights/foglights, roof rack, dual climate control, predator tube steps, Paint-Protection Film - Hood, Fenders, Mirror Backs and Door Cups, LED bed-lighting kit, all weather floor liners and door sill protectors, blackout emblem overlays, door edge guards, mud guards, If I'd have to order one, I'd order it with exact options plus few more. All in all truck MSRP was $39,969, and of course the dealer had another $3k markup market adjustment. They wouldn't budge on the markup, which is kinda scummy, but I totally get that due to higher demand of finding a manual transmission tacoma in this trim, in this color and with these options. Its a needle in a stack of needles like Tony Stark said lol. Considering the fact that they gave me $7k more than what I owed to the bank for my traded in 2016 subaru wrx with 62,2xx miles on it, I'd say I cannot complain at all, and that its a win-win situation.

Only other things that I really want to add are the bed mat from Toyota, side window wind deflectors. I already got a tri-fold soft bed tonneau cover by Rough Country for the Taco and its definitely great! At some point or another if I care enough, I'll replace the door speakers with the Kickers.

I’ve been waiting on the same truck since August…

Originally had a production date of March 26th, delayed to April 13th, delayed again to April 20th.

Temp VIN stopped working around April 20th, got the new VIN on April 21st. I've been in F status for ~35 days now. I've had Rod check my VIN twice now and he tells me it's in Long Beach (been there for over 2 weeks). No mileage or tire pressure on the Toyota App.

2 Weeks ago I had hope when the dealer called and made it sound like it would be there any day. We actually completed all the paperwork and I got the May Toyota finance deal @ 1.75apr. That expires Wednesday unless my truck magically appears.

The topper to all of this is I sold my 4runner 3 weeks ago and I've been borrowing a buddies car. Truth be told I didn't expect my 4runner to sell so fast.

Has anyone else had this much issue? Is it just because I'm up in Montana? Here's my VIN if you have any advice 3TMCZ5AN0NM496786

What are you attempting to find? This does seem to be longer and more difficult than most. Regrettably, you might have to be willing to have some added flexibility in truck color and/or options?

Just placed a deposit on an allocation last week… White OR AC. Dealer had three allocated in the color/trim I wanted, and one of the three had already been built. More options than what I wanted (and actually more truck, I went in looking for an SR SX) but it should be nice. Sales guy said 1.5 months after being built, so hopefully end of June?

@Rod03 Mind checking this one for me? 3TYSZ5AN8NT081960

Thanks for checking on these for all of us. It was supposedly built 5/17 in Guanajuato…

Was this your build date? Did your build date show as 05/23? Trying to determine if my posted build date is accurate.

I was a week 17 build according to my temp VIN but it was late by a few weeks. I wasn’t given a build date specifically, just found that out due to @Rod03 and his wizardry.

That Friday morning it started showing an F status in V-spec.
