It's a lot faster when they dont have to move them by Vessel or Rail. Yours went straight to the dealership in a Semi.

    Congrats on the new truck.

So I added my truck in the app via my vin, and I’m curious if you have to do anything special to get the notifications or mileage readouts, like enabling any of those app/service/software trials.

my truck is a manual transmission if that matters

Hopefully this means my QC Hold will lift shortly, and mine will be on its way soon. Especially since it's essentially same truck (maybe not options), put in hold on the same day.

    A girl can hope

@Rod03 I hit up 2 different salesman to check on my status so I didn't have to bother you as I doubt anything has changed since yesterday... but the anticipation is literally killing me. I cant, for the life of me, figure out why it could take almost 2 weeks for a train to reach Denver from Mexico. I have spent several hours reading into Toyota shipping and logistics and I have even gone as far as trying to find a way to track trains, but idk the train number or even the train line. (UP, BNSF, Amtrak, etc.) zero luck. Any and all information you have I would love to know more. Even if its just more info on the process or timeline. I am selling both my car and motorcycle before I get the truck so timing is important. I can't be without a vehicle for more than a week.
Any and all help with information is highly appreciated. Relink the coffee link please.

if its on a train, is there still a possibility of a hold? Once it hits rail arrival, what is that process? Are trainyards treated like ports with technicians and "port" add-ons, or am I just waiting on one more truck to the dealer, free and clear?
Thanks again man, the fact that you're helping everyone out like this, on your own free time, is awesome dude.

Yeah you wont see any info at first. Then one day you will see tire pressures, gas level, and start getting multiple doors unlocked alerts. I got those about a week before mine went ground status.

Truck was build on 05/18, left by rail on 05/20.
    In Transit: Rail Depart
    In transit to ROLLA

I dont know where Rolla is but that is where is going, after that it needs to get on one more truck to get to the dealership. It doesn't show a hold.

Thanks for this rundown. How do I make them non-temporary? Didn’t see anything like that in the app, must be missing something.

When I was ordering mine, the sales guy’s computer screen showed mine was being built in San Diego? Or maybe that was the port?

Do you know what tech packages? I’m waiting on a build that’s overdue on an OR with the parking sonar/blind spot monitor tech package. Curious if that’s what’s causing the delay…

They are moving more than just YOUR truck. They have to load and unload all of those train cars (well over 100 train cars I bet). Be patient! The salesmen get the same info as Rod. It will be on the train and then it will be ground and you will get a call from the dealership.
