How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

My dealer is in northern New Jersey so not too far from the Newark port.

 

The whole allocation process is Sh**. On top of that, the dealers that get alot of the top models have adjustments/markups. I hope they move to an order based system.

 

Just got word from my dealership that my 2022 trd Sport Access cab m/t tacoma is not coming now i’m just debating on ordering a 2023 now because of all the BS

 

I would maybe get my deposit back and try a different dealership. Not sure if it has changed but my sport, access cab, m/t order took two months to build. It's been stuck in a port for a month and a half, but I believe it actually exists. You might have better luck with someone else. One thing I'm learning from this whole thing is that although the process should be identical for each dealership, the allocations they get and the way that they deal with things and their customers very very different. I would maybe try to find the largest, highest ranked, no markup dealer within 200 miles and put in a deposit there.

 

I want to order one just like that and A) am not in a hurry (funds) and B) am just learning the process. When did you put your order in? Did you ever get to the 'allocation' stage? Thanks for your time.

 

Dealer told me I have a production date of 5-26. Any idea how long to get to dealer or when it would go into freight status? Dealer is in San Diego.

 

Have you talked to the ag they will usually seek out demages and levy fines. If your not in a rush wait them out an get them fined.

 

I do plan on writing a new review. The verbal agreement was to remove the current reviews.
The paperwork was pre-written before my signature and was wrong. They did lie to me. There is an entire refundable clause in the contract. They also didn't fill the correct part out and wrote out the truck was in their possession, not incoming, and I had 5 days to claim it.

All of that said... glad it's behind me (once the check arrives), but I will leave my state attorney general's office do their investigation. The state AG is not too keen on car dealers here. Just google PA state attorney general + car dealers

 

Our AG office receives 20k complains a year so I'm sure it'll be ~1 week before I hear anything.
They do their own thing. I just submitted a complaint wanting my money back (which is on the way).
I'll supply them with anything and everything they want.

The sales associate I'm working with to procure a TRD Sport DCSB 6MT (preferably in the BCM color) with all of the trimmings including the Advanced Tech Package contacted me today and offered me a TRD Off Road DCSB 6MT in Lunar Rock; I took a pass.

 

The truck rail departed on 05/16, in route to Petersburg. It was placed on hold on 05/24.

This is a gut punch seeing Trucks arriving to long beach a month after mine and now arriving at the dealership while mine is still there. Regardless, congrats @VegasView!
