How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

SouthEast Toyota S__KS Mine was scheduled to arrive by July 6th - Now says July 28th Salesman has not been helpful at all

 

I don’t know. I know it wasn’t yesterday and now today it was pushed back. Not only my truck, but most of the trucks coming into my local area.

 

Yep, as a fellow North Carolina person, it seems like most of the incoming trucks just got a three week delay.

Part of me is wondering if there isn’t some computer glitch going on, and that in a few days maybe the dates will change again in our favor.

 

Let"s hope so Have you even gotten your permanent VIN??? Southeast Toyota must think they are Top Secret State secrets

No. I was talking to the dealer yesterday and I asked about that. They told me when it was built, that it was at a port (they didn’t know which port though) and that no permanent VIN was showing yet.

The truck is sitting at East Brookfield, got there on 05/22. On 05/23 a QC hold was placed on it, still showing it.

 

You can only see where they get picked up, to the location they are going. Yours rail departed on 06/21, out os San Diego in Route to Princeton.

 

Truck still sitting at Rolla, no other update or hold showing.

 

The truck did get build on 06/20, currently in Santa Rita, MX. Waiting for a truck ride to a port.

 

No more hold, shows an ETA.

Rail departed on 06/14, in route to Selkirk. First time I see that one, not sure where it is.

 

If its the Selkirk I know that means it is Eastern NY. Which means its almost to me thanks for all the help!

 

People that got their truck in 3 months or less have NO IDEA just how lucky they were. That’s the equivalent of winning the lottery compared to what most of us have gone through or are going through.

 

I feel that, seems like a good bit depends on how you tried to get your truck and a good bit of luck. I put an allocation in at my local dealer back in Oct. of last year and waited 7 months with no progress. Back in May I came on here and got the suggestion to just start contacting local dealers about ones showing on the website because I was getting impatient. From there after a day or three I found one coming to a dealer 2hrs away from me that was not spoken for scheduled to be built 2 weeks later. From there I cancelled my allocation the next day. After I contacted those dealers inquiring about specific trucks I have had 2 call back a week or two later and offer me ones that were spoken for but people backed out of the deal.

 

I think it depends on how picky you are about the build you want as well. For me personally I wanted the long bed and a manual, so only a TRD sport would work. I also had to have the LED headlights and one of three colors I liked. Put that all together and go look on cars.com and you will get like 8 viable incoming builds for the entire country. I still don't know how I got my truck with all those requirements
