I also thought most stick shift Tacomas are allocated to the east coast dealerships.

Yeah, the majority seems to be in PA, NJ, NY, MA, some in VT, NH, OH. A few on the other Coast OR, WA and very little for everyone else.

Since we can't use the tracker anymore, I went and ordered a set of HUSKEY FLOORLINERS, & a hood bug/rock deflector for my truck, so I at least have them. I will order some other cosmetic things once it's in my possession

I am curious if anyone has heard or experienced this same issue, I specifically custom ordered a tacoma because i couldn't find one that wasn't already presold. I put a deposit down in march and it came in yesterday. Several of the options i ordered it with were not on there and the sales person told me that Toyota is able to send these trucks out basically how they want to even if its a custom order. I decided to pass on the truck because it wasn't what i ordered. Has anyone else ran into this or are they blowing smoke because they messed up??

You never custom ordered one. Toyota doesn't do factory orders.

Toyota basically build whatever they want and send them to where they think they would sell. Your dealership is basically trying to get the truck the closest spec to what you want.

There is a preferencing system, as in your dealer can put what they prefer in the system. But, there's no guarantee you'll get the truck exactly the way you want it.
