Yes, quite a few things are done at the port. The bed light and remote tailgate lock on the app show installation at the port. The Tonneau cover though shows factory for the install.

I considered buying my Tacoma (scheduled for a build late this month) with the Tonneau cover, two things stopped me:
    1. The Premium Package (With Options) was an either/or situation, either the Tonneau cover or the Advanced Tech Package; I chose the latter, and
    2. I've heard the Toyota Tonneau cover is a "soft cover" and given the amount of snow we get around here, I prefer a rigid tri-folder; I'm currently leaning toward a WeatherTech AlloyCover tri-folder.

Thanks for the tip. I recently moved up from Florida so this was new to me. Definitely want to get it done before I put too many miles on my new one

Have you run your vin to see if it’s part of the recall?

I didn’t want the OEM bedcover, unfortunately the only Tacoma checking off most of my boxes that I could get a deposit on had it included. I like the Lomax rigid cover and will probably upgrade later.

Great idea on the bed mat. I think I'll do the same.
I still have my Rough Country neoprene seat covers from my last Tacoma, but they compressed the foam in the backseat a little bit so I may go a different route. I seen a LED interior light upgrade kit on Amazon. Any opinion on that?

i got the LED kit from Amazon. It wasn’t super inexpensive. Just waiting for my truck to get here so I can install it. I do wish the Tacoma’s came with the sequential headlights like the 21’ did. I hate the ones they come with. Later I will invest in some. Sucks that the aftermarket ones are about $900 bucks lol

My truck came with floor mats, door seal protectors, bed mat, bed light LED kit, but I did order an aftermarket steel rear bumper because I do not like the chrome one and you’re only able to get the key colored ones when the truck comes with the technology package, I also ordered the emblem black out kit, lights for the rear steel bumper, new floor mats, because the ones that come with the truck don’t have that much protection. Lastly I ordered sequential turn signal mirror kits, TRD pro grill, interior LED light kit, LED headlights, but later I am going to invest in the TRD sequential front headlights like the ones that come on the pros, going to have the windows tinted 5%, TRD pro black rims once it arrives to the dealer, and lastly, some new LED tail lights down the road .

mostly everything I got on Amazon. O way I’m paying dealer prices for the same quality lol. But the rear bumper I got from extreme terrain. Good quality.

Fyi in Phoenix area the rail yards are on strike so there’s a delay. Usually they are drop by rail in el mirage and trucked from there. Toyota is trying to ship direct from long beach to dealers now. That may or may not make things faster or slower.

I was reading about that. The report was saying rail workers where going to go on strike at any moment because of the financial gain the rail companies are making, but still are paying their employees nickels and dimes and not offering any incentives.

@Rod03 could you please check 3TMCZ5AN5NM519480
I might be able to swap to this truck instead of waiting until September on my truck that has the recall. Thanks for all the help.

Something must be happening. I now see mine listed on the dealers site and “in transit” marked. It wasn’t there last night.

oh nice! I had shopped there, but unfortunately they didn’t have much when I was shopping. The lady I had dealt with was super nice. I had a heartbreak because I was going to get a TRD Pro white, but it came back as a MT and I was bummed. They were going to give it to me for MSRP on the spot, so I ended up dealing with viva Toyota. They’ve been good.

If this was recent, it’s probably the truck I’m buying. I was looking for a MT Pro in white….
