Interesting. Yeah, they told me it should be here towards the end of June and went quiet until recently when I called and apparently a group of them got held up (never gave me a reason why) but should be getting released soon.

Hopefully all the cartel violence doesn’t slow your truck from being delivered. Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenadas, Ciudad Juarez, and Guanajuato are all a war zones right now and it is very bad. I live about an hour away from the US and Juarez border and they just had a shoot out, burning buildings, and killings.

Cartels just announced massive violence this weekend in baja and northern baja. What a crazy world. Of all the places to have issues why does it have to be the place where toyotas are madeo_O

I know right??? Stupid choice to move production to a country like that. I know it’ll delay things because Toyota won’t risk their assets like that or put the lives of employees in danger, so I foresee it slowing delivery times and putting holds on moving trucks/trains out of Mexico.

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere, but one of the dealers I have left a deposit with (no allocation still) , just text me and let me know my 2022 deposit/no allocation, will now be a 2023 deposit /no allocation and to expect a slight increase in model cost.

    Waiting since November 2021.......

IF an F150 comes up first I'll be in it.. my van is on its last breath

Just put a deposit on a TRD Pro. None of the other trucks I was hoping for are panning out, and I'm sick of dumping money into my 2010 SR5. I still have a reservation for a Lightning, with no word on when I'll be able to order. Been a year now, and they just announced big price increases. I'm annoyed that they aren't cutting some sort of deal to folks who got in line early. Also interested in next generation Ranger, but nobody seems to know those dates either. An EV or PHEV Ranger would be high on my list. Same for a Tacoma. Once all of this settled in, I figured I'd buy something new with a warranty, keep it stock and pristine, and it will hold it's value well and the truck I really want should be available within 2-3 years. Not to mention that the last year run of the 3rd generation should be pretty well sorted out.

No idea how long I'll wait, but it seems like within 6 months is reasonable at this high volume dealer. Stay tuned. I might sell my 2010 privately- it's got a bunch of new parts on it. :D
