    It seems completely random which trucks make it through and which get held. Mine was built 7/12 in Baja and hasn't gone through processing. It can't be train related because I'm in California where they would just put them on a semi. Another person from this forum had an almost identical truck as me (Lunar Rock TRDOR DCSB) built the day before mine and got his 7/13. So frustrating! I talked to my dealer a few times and most recently they said now that it's been 4 weeks they could ask the "porter" to request additional information and try to expedite processing... that was Friday so I'm hopeful for next week. I haven't even gotten any app notifications yet.

    Well congratulations! Is this your first? If it is, you might wonder when you leave, why the hospital is allowing you to leave with a human. :rofl:The other thing you may experience: a belief that everyone is traveling too fast, or too close, and in the stores, many people appear very sketchy looking.     Still impatiently awaiting my 6/4 build from Baja. Does anyone know if vehicles are moved by rail or ship from Baja plant to JAXPORT (SET - Southeastern Toyota Distributor)? Any guess on shipping time once it’s left the plant?

    I think mainly by rail. But right now there is a bunch of cartel violence in Tijuana/Baja. Could be the delay. I live along the south west border of Texas , and Saturday my truck barely got unloaded from the train after two weeks of being on the rail.

    Just got 2 door unlock notifications in the Toyota app, 30 minutes apart.
    Think they must have just loaded it onto the car carrier!

    Ive got a deposit down on an allocation that dealer said was set to arrive Aug 6-8. Ive only just found this thread and looked back maybe 10 pages or so, so please forgive my ignorance.
    So first off, I found on the Toyota site that the order date was 5/22. Doesnt say build date. I downloaded the app and I dont even see where to set door unlock notifications...so Im lost there.
    I see many of you are going thru @Rod03 for notifications who just had a baby, so Congratulations!!!!
    So Im going to throw the VIN here and see if maybe someone can tell me something....or school me on what I might be doing wrong...LOL.

    Ok ethics question here. My truck was built 5 weeks ago and is sitting in Baja. The exact same truck was built last week and made it to my dealer yesterday. My dealer says it might be possible to switch me to this truck that just arrived even though it's reserved by someone else. Should I do it?

    IMHO, no, it's not your truck. Give the other person right to first refusal. You'd want the same courtesy, right?

    Super frustrating. I'm in Utah and the dealer said it should be coming any day now and it would be shipped by truck, so once it gets released it'll be here in a day or two. I'm going to check in tomorrow to see if they can get anymore information.

    I'm in Utah so it's probably different but know you're not alone with a June build that's held up haha. I have a 6/7 build that hasn't moved since and the dealer hasn't really given me an answer as to why. They just said they're expecting this group to move any day now it would be transported by semi so it will only take a day or two.

    I put a deposit down 6/30 for a TRDOR. I wanted Lunar Rock, Premium Off Road package, technology package and LED lights. They called me 2 days later to let me know they had one being built 8/1 with everything except the LED lights. It was at the dealership 10 days later on 8/11.
