Awesome! Dunno why their sales guy is acting like it hasn't hit the lot yet.
My guess is their techs are dragging feet on getting the thing ready and he's covering for them.
    Either way, showing up tomorrow!

Most likely, getting new cars PDI can be a pain if the Service Dept is busy.

Do I recall correctly the previous publicly available VIN tracker for one's build is no longer able to be hit by us mere mortals?

I got my temporary VIN today and was thinking to try and figure out how to look it up on my own; any help?

    The V-SPEC Page?
Last I saw, it works if you have an auth token from your dealership to access the site.
No longer allows you to log in as a guest without the auth token, IE in anon mode.

Cool, thanks. I'll ask my son; last Monday he started as a new car salesman for a local Toyota dealership (already sold 4 new cars and 2 used cars), so he should be able to look it up. :)

There we go! Sales guy just called and confirmed it's ready.
"Hey I just saw them unload it from the carrier!"

How are you guys getting a timeline of the order process. I put a deposit on a taco that had order date first week of July. Dealer thought it would get built mid August and arrive around first of September. Is there a way to find out if and when it builds? I have a vin from sales agreement but didn’t want to bother the guy in this thread that appears to be quite busy helping others.

Hey there, dealership told me expected delivery date was 8/6-10. Still hasn’t arrived yet. @Rod03 can you check this VIN for me please? Thanks! 3TMCZ5AN3NM517307

Has anyone ever paid a $2,000 deposit for an allocation? Dealer wants me to sign some papers on an agreed upon price but I haven't even seen interest rates yet. Seems a little weird. From what I heard $500 is the normal deposit. The paper says it's refundable at any time. What kind of papers (if any) are you guys signing for a deposit?

You can ask your sales person or ask @Rod03, he is very busy but you could always buy him a beverage or now some diapers

Diapers sounds reasonable. If everyone he has answered has bought him beverage he may very well have soiled himself.
