How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I tried building one, but never heard back. Finally decided to just see what the dealers had in stock but everything was pre sold. One of them reached out to me about reserving one that was already in the process of being built. Which took like 2 or 3 months till i was able to pick it up. Didnt have everything i wanted on it but it had my main things and a color i liked.

I’m in the same boat, having to use the wife’s car!

made a deposit the 1st of the month on the last of 6, Sept allocation!

I had a 22 Venza Hybrid that I hated, just not a car person

Dealer offed me $34K trade, I put it on Autotrader and sold it to an out of state car dealer for $37.5k and they even sent a team down to pick it up!

Gotta admit though, never imagined the grief we are all going thru during the “Wait”, with no updates at all from my dealer

Thankfully, my wife is supportive and understanding during this time

 

It has been for me, though my truck just had a trip on a semi and not on a train or vessel. In my experience the ETA will update every few days too, so keep an eye on that

Anyone have any insight on long train rides or maybe who holds the record for longest time tacoma sat on train? I've seen a couple posts,including mine, where they've been build and then put on a train with no update for like a month. Mine was a 7/27 departure with eta 8/9 to logistics park. But no update. Just a backlog problem or perhaps where they are being sent?

 

Although the mileage didn't change, I did get another update on my Taco in the app midday today.

I'm theorizing the first update Saturday was when it was loaded onto the train, and today's was when arrived at the destination port. Betting the next update, if there is one, will be when it is loaded onto a truck and headed up here... then the rest will be dealer prep updates!

 

Rail departed on 07/19, out of San Diego in route to Daytons Bluff. Still showing on the train, ETA is behind now.
