@timtizzle That's weird. You and I had the same build date (mine is a MT OR) and same train arrival date at Dayton's Bluff. My truck arrived at the dealership on 9/12. I worked with a South Metro dealership, so maybe the particular dealership makes a difference? Or they bury those Pros deep in the train, so they are the last to emerge? :) Hope you see landfall soon!

Picked up my truck from the dealership yesterday! Thanks so much @Rod03 for the updates throughout the process.

Good luck to everyone on here and hope you all have your trucks soon! As for me, more truck upgrades to come. :muscleflexing:

Why do you get door unlock notifications when it arrives at the destination center via rail?

This LunaRock just looks so good. Congrats. I have 21 tundra Pro rock. Love it. I’m working on selling my 22 Camry XSE and getting a Tacoma in the place of it. As much as I would like a another LunaRock but really leaning toward the Windchill Sport loaded and maybe having the oem lift added write away.

@Rod03 - With the Strike being averted - I figured a beer for a check is a good trade :)

My impatience is shining now that we are getting closer - Truly do appreciate you!

Edit: I believe this is the permanent VIN based on dealer website: 3TMDZ5BNXNM139621

It’s been a long wait. Started this adventure back in Feb. the 1st dealer I went to had nothing, and I mean nothing on the lot with the exception of used cars. Talked to the salesman and he explained the whole allocation thing and that I just couldn’t order what I wanted. Also there was the extra $2000 tacked onto the price for his pleasure of selling me a truck. Screw them.
Headed to the big city and I figured they should be able to get the track pretty quick. Well, it was going to be 3-6 months, so I was told. I put my money down and the wait started. And I waited and waited and waited. A few trucks came in, but not the color or options I wanted. On a whim, I looked on the web site of a 3rd dealer in July. They had a green one with everything I wanted but, of course it was already sold. The wait continues.
Late July, the 3rd dealer calls me and tells me that they just received their new allocation. We go thru the list of trucks and lo and behold, they have one coming that I want. Put my money down at the new dealer and now wait. It was built on Aug 9 and delivered Sept 14. I now have an appointment at 10 this morning to finally receive my new truck. So, yes, it’s been about an 8 month wait and I’m just a little moist with excitement.

I’m reading comments here and I’m like wow… We live on a different planet. My experience was so different and kind of the same. Maybe that’s because I’m in Canada or I’m less impatient than others. We have no where near your tracking capabilities over here, as far as I know. Ordered a 2021 Pro in April 2021, only to be told in June it wouldn’t happen. Transferred the amount on a 2022 and talked to the dealer 2 or 3 times maximum over the course of close to one year when they called me to say they found one. I have no idea if it was an allocation or if they exchanged one of theirs for my truck with another dealer. I have no idea when it was built nor how/when it travelled. I just got a screenshot of their inventory system when it showed « in transit » and a call when it arrived. Then I took delivery at the end of April 2022.

Maybe I’d like something like you have (temporary VIN, etc.), but I’m glad I don’t have the market adjustment bullshit you guys have to deal with. So I guess I’ll take what I have.

Mine was built a week after yours it seems. I'm in Jersey as well. Hoping the damn train delivers and I have it next week.
