How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    First post here! Waiting on my '22 Off-road to get delivered.

    I have a temporary VIN - 3TMCZ5AN5NM529877. Dealer said build date was September 9. Dealer says 4-6 weeks for delivery but i'm skeptical it will take that long. @Rod03, would it be possible for a status update when time permits? Thanks in advance!

    After over a year considering a Tacoma, 5 months looking for a specific one, 6 dealerships within a 500 mile radius, 3 deposits, 2 trucks that didn’t show up…I finally have a Tacoma!!! It’s everything I wanted right down to the color except the LED lights…but I can fix that. I would highly recommend Roswell Toyota in Roswell, NM…easiest buying experience I’ve ever had once the truck got here.

    So after waiting since February when I put down $1000 on an Army Green truck (4wd TRD Sport 5ft bed) I am running out of time. The color appears to be discontinued on Tacoma for 2023.... so I no longer have the luxury of waiting to see if I get a '23.

    I'm casting my net really wide now since we are almost at the end of 2022 model year. I'm contacting any dealership I see with (an allocation for ) the truck I want within a 5 state radius. If I had known the color would be gone, I would have started this part of the process a few months back.

    My salesman asked what my second choice color was... but I could have had my second choice back in July or August. I held out for Green and now it looks like it may bite me in the ass.

    I don't need a new truck, I just very much wanted one. I still do. I still want what I requested on February 21st from Gulf States Toyota.

    I'm happy for all of you guys getting your trucks in even if it is making me jealous.

    If it doesn't work out where I get one, I may never buy another Tacoma again.

    After well over a month thinking that having the app installed and connected to my VIN I have been getting multiple door's unlocked alerts throughout the morning as well as the odometer has gone from 2 to 3 miles. To add fuel to the fire the dealers website now has the truck listed.....this could be one of two things, the truck is leaving to port or has decided to go for a swim seeing its been at the beach for almost a month.

    One more time my friend....and greatly appreciated.

    I feel your pain.. I have had an AG 4runner on "order" since June and my salesman told me the same thing a few weeks back. definitely bummed that green is going away and that i have tried 3x now and still havent been able to get one

    YES!!! So it will be getting to the rail yard soon. Now it’s just hoping it doesn’t sit there waiting for a truck ride for long.

    I also wanted Army Green. I was about to choose between waiting for a 2023 Army Green or go after a 2022 Lunar Rock, and then Toyota made the choice for me by discontinuing it. Don’t know why, it seems to be popular.

    It's a SE Toyota truck, I can only see the spec sheet. Looks like the build date was 09/02.
