Yeah, I understand things are backed up. I’m pretty sure it was built in San Antonio TX, I live in Columbus Ohio. The dealership telling me mid September and now it’s mid October has me wanting to do my on research

If you have a Tacoma on the way, then that is a negative; all Tacomas are built in Mexico. If you post your VIN I can tell you where it was built.

Rail ARRIVED 10/10 per schedule and now ready for trailer. However, delivery has changed from 10/08 - 10/13 to 10/13 - 10/18. About a week delay. From Aug 1 original order the total delay in delivery has been one week:

You definitely have a 2022 model and it was built in Tijuana, so it will most likely be rail all of the way to a ramp near(ish) your dealership.

Some are getting train rides directly from Guanajuato to the US too. Who knows how they decide these things!

Rod said he first picked up mine on a train in southern California, he initially thought it was built in Baja. Door sticker says Guanajuato. He never showed it getting on or off a boat so I assume it never got on one. Train dropped it off in chicago where it sat for almost a month before be in trucked to my dealer in Bay City Michigan.

Interesting. I'll need to look at the Mexican rail routes; I wonder if the BNSF extension tracks which run south from San Ysidro run all of the way down to Guanajuato.

Correct, some of the Guanajuato builds are coming in by rail to the States. I have seen some go to the Logistics Park, Rolla, and Daytons bluff. I believe that started with the rail issues going on here Stateside.

    Thank so much @Rod03!

I am pleased to say I’ve laid eyes on my new truck! I snuck in to see the inventory this morning, and sure enough I got to see it amongst a 1 of 500 Toyota Supra m/t.

I am picking up her beefiness on Monday!

I put a deposit in late June on this already allocated truck, temp VIN

Built on Aug 26th, permanent VIN in Guanojuato

Arrived at Veracruz Port on Sept 14

Oct 10, it’s on the truck for delivery from Newark NJ

Literally hit Mechanicsville Toyota Oct 11th… but technically Oct 12th at 12AM it was unloaded and parked on the lot.

I wish everyone else good luck! I need to start prepping for the new addition!
