How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    I "ordered" paid for allocation to two dealers. 1 November 2021, second March 0f 2022. I still have no allocation. I was worried about my current vehicle lasting another year, so I put some money into it and its running great. Given the prices of new vehicles, I'm considering backing out and asking for my deposit back, I even have a lead on a 2004 Tacoma reasonably priced. Given that and with the notion of not having a truck payment for the next 60 months, im leaning towards just waiting to vehicle prices return to pre pandemic prices.

    Hmmm, hot having been in the Tacoma market prior to early this year, I don't know what the pre-pandemic Tacoma market place looked like; have they ever been available below MSRP?

    I knew I was going to be requesting a unicorn before I put the deposit down. It didn't even remotely surprise me it took 8 months from deposit to delivery. :)
