Any way to read into the tea leaves of the attached from the dealer's website? Specifically wondering if the Created on date reflects a verifiable delivery time to the dealership.

I took your advice and contacted Corporate. They replied with the boilerplate nonsense. After a little bit of back and forth with them, I got a call from my dealership's Customer Service lady and Sales manager wondering if they could answer any questions I had. I let them know I wasn't unhappy with the dealership, just displeased with the process and lack of information from Toyota. They were actually a little appreciative of that since it lets Toyota know what the customers are dealing with and shines a light on the unfortunate position the dealer is put in since they don't get very much information to pass on to the customers. Not sure it helped, but almost simultaneously the recall alert on the app changed to normal, no recalls engine good. I received an update from my sales person yesterday letting me know the truck was finally moving and expected to be in Portland on 11/22/22 and he's hoping for another update then. We'll see..

    Thanks for you advice!

That’s awesome…so happy for you. Can’t wait to see some pictures when you get it. I can tell you I’ve enjoyed my truck and I’m sure you will too.

I made a allocation reserve request on Sat with my dealer. With a deposit. I tried to not be picky with specific options, just an automatic TRD OR in a silver or gray. Dealer said it could be February. We’ll see. Question to everyone who has done this before. What should I expect from the dealer in terms of updates? Like, was my request accepted? And then once a truck is allocated what should I expect then? I’m in the Atlanta area, so SET distributor. Thanks

It will vary based on your dealership. Some are great about updates, others it is like pulling teeth.

Quick question: How far are you willing to travel to get your truck? Have you looked in a wide area, because what you list doesn't look like something you should have to wait until February for, if you are willing to travel.
