Rage preordered 8/21, picked up 10/28. I was actually told it was potentially a 3-4month wait for my LB TRDOR in Lunar Rock.

    Also first post here,
Bought the taco because Nissan wasn't playing nice on "allowing" me to buy a Pro4x without paying an extra 5-10k. I think I made a fine decision however.

I just submitted an order for a MGM TRD-Off Road Premium on Saturday. Dealer is guessing it'll be sometime around April before they see it.

Welcome Alex and nice choice. Two months is quick. Congrats on your purchase.

Sounds reasonable. I ordered the same truck but added the Advanced Tech Package and LED headlights and its looking like it will be nearly 6 months from order to receiving.

I believe the exact name of the package I got was the TRD Off-Road Premium w/ Options package. So it includes the advanced tech and all that. Moon roof, led headlights, etc. I thought 4-5mo was pretty reasonable too and honestly not in a huge hurry.

Nice. I wasn't in a hurry either.... really still not. My old 2000 with 362k is still fantastic but I'm looking forward to the new one. First new truck for me at 50 years old. ;)

First new truck for me too!...but a wee bit younger at 37 lol. I too wasn't in a hurry but my existing daily of 12yrs (07 Xterra) got annoying after I threw on medium long travel for the shiggles.

Long travel = definitely not my taste for a daily and the wife had some complaints for it being a baby mobile. And I like sway bars....

Thats understandable. I try to keep vehicles as practical as possible.... which can be difficult when there's so many cool trucks out there. Having said that, there's also something cool about stock (or near stock trucks). ;)

This wasn’t my first new truck but first one in 20 years. I had sworn off new stuff as a Dave Ramsey disciple (that changed my life) but when I was looking for a low mileage used one, they were nearly as high as a new one and it didn’t make sense. What made you jump to new vs used if this was your first new one?

I love hearing that. At 50 years old, we have zero debt (due to the good Lord and Dave Ramsey) and it has changed our life in a magnificent way. I will have a partial loan on my incoming truck but will pay it off in a year or so. We purchased a 3500lb camper need something that can tow more than my current 2000 Tacoma 2.7L. Lightly used Tacomas are selling for the same price as new ones at MSRP so purchasing new made sense to us.

Very cool. We also have zero debt besides this truck, which we will pay off in under 6 months. Curious about the camper…I also want an ultra light to pull. What did you get?
