My dealer has been great for the most part with updates, but they got a little pushy when the truck actually arrived for us to do paperwork immediately. We live 2 hours away and my job can be unpredictable and I basically said, "I'll pick it up when I can find time." So they set me up to do paperwork remotely, which is fine, but I want my wife on the title too, so we had to coordinate this too. She works per diem, and just so happened to be working super long shifts around all this. Again, I told them, "She's working long days, if you can convince her to get home after an 18 hour day and sign your paperwork, go for it, but I'd like to stay happily married. If you're so worked up over it, just close the sale or whatever it is you have to do." Later that day the truck disappeared off their website, and we completed the paperwork last night. Might pick it up tomorrow if I get out of work early enough and the weather isn't terrible. Otherwise it's after Christmas.

They also seemed a little annoyed that I said, "I'll take the 10/125 platinum warranty for $1795, no hard feelings if you don't want to match that." They grumbled, and matched it, and seemed upset that I didn't take the other stuff. Told me I'd void my warranty if I did my own oil changes and I said, "We know that's not true so let's just quit while we're ahead."

FWIW, I had a ‘21 TRD OR DC with MT and thought the original Goodyears were great in most driving conditions, including snow. Here in NY we certainly don’t see the volume of snow that you do but my experience in deep snow was favorable.

No tire will make you impervious to weather conditions but driven with reasonable care I found the Goodyears to be perfectly adequate. They don’t look cool but it’s a pretty solid all around tire in my experience.

As an aside, Toyota doesn’t even make your configuration available here in the states. The only way to get an AC with MT is TRD Sport.

Good luck and enjoy the new Tacoma!

That truck is marked presold and was probably unpromoted from their website as such.

Dealer arrival is estimated at 12.23-1.5 but it has an “on truck for delivery” date of yesterday, so it should arrive at your dealer within the next day or so if it hasn’t already.

    Merry Christmas!

    Build date: 12.20
    Rail departure/arrival: 12.31/1.15
    On truck for delivery: 1/18

Keep in mind that these dates are not set in stone. Dealer ETA right now is listed as 1.7-1.27 but given how recently your truck was built you should expect some changes. Your mileage may vary, so to speak.

The suspense is killing me. Still hasnt made it from Denver to Fort Collins. Dealer texted yesterday and said it was showing to be on the truck today but I'm assuming the weather that came through last night/this morning has delayed those plans. So we continue to wait.

You and I are going through the EXACT same thing. Mine arrived in Denver on the 19th...got the unlock notification for the first time earlier this week and now crickets. I'm in the Fort Collins area, so they will probably be on the same truck headed up here. The dealer said Thursday at the latest but I'm sure the storm didn't help things.

Haha...yea most likely. And now being at the holiday weekend I'm guessing it will be next week before they're ready for pick up.

Yeah, sounds like typical Southeast Toyota Distributors. The Pro I’m waiting on has moved at least once a week since putting a deposit down at the end of October. Anywhere from Dec 5th to Jan 23rd. Was at Jan 6th last week. Fell back to Jan 17th this week.

Thanks for the reality check. I'll keep my expectations low.

    SET for me too.
My pro expected dates were similar to yours. Deposit made on an unspoken for allocation in late Oct.
Moved from Jan 6 to Jan 16 yesterday.
Have been getting unlock notifications for about a week. Mileage has climbed to 7 and now shows tire pressure.
Hopefully, it will show up sooner than later.
