How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

For the new guys that are really frustrated with waiting for your "very specific build" a lot of the trucks that make it onto the spreadsheet don't actually have buyers. You can use multiple strategies to find your dream taco. Its autotrader!!!!! I have found it easier to "go to the truck" you can literally set every filter to match your specific specs. And sit back and let it email you every time that truck appears. Call them, see if the buyer is still taking it. Leave your information.





The only thing to be aware of is tax rate. Look up the state you are calling because they are most likely going 2 charge you their rate. Unless your states is higher. Then you will owe more when you register it. For example: I flew to San Francisco to pick up my 2023. Flight from Denver was 200 bucks. I stayed one night at 70 bucks. 4 tanks of gas 1200 miles later I had exactly what I wanted, and a mini road trip! The tax difference was 1.2% lower in my state. I could apply to the purchase state to refund my money, which I will.

That is a temp serial number and doesn't bring anything up. Your truck most likely was built and that was replaced by an actual VIN. Get me the VIN and I can check it for you.

I wonder which one is more likely to be wrong--Molace or Toyota. Regardless, your time estimate seems accurate, and thanks for looking it up again.

 

It looks like we're in the same boat. According to Toyota, mine hasn't shipped, but Molace says my truck is on the Salvia Ace as well. Hopefully, this is a case where Toyota is lagging behind on their updates!

 

I would be inclined to believe a company whose entire job is logistics would be more likely to have accurate logistics information than Toyota's Dealer Daily or whatever it is called, but we'll see.

 

Of course it landed on the day I’m taking off for a week. Something to look forward to on my return.
