How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thanks @DragonPro23 . Really appreciate you looking this information up. I think the dealership did a switcheroo on me though. The temporary VIN is still shown on Toyota inventory search along with the new VIN they just gave me. Is there a way to see the build sheet on the VIN 3TYCZ5AN8PT117332. Why is Southeast Toyota such a pain? I am surprised if the build date was 11/16 that its not at dealership already. That seems a long time to get from Mexico to the Alabama dealership. Is that a common timeline to get from an established build date to the dealership?

That does seem like a long time - my truck was built on 11.30 and made it to my dealership in NY on 1.13.

That said, I think Toyota was having issues with sourcing the bronze wheels for the trail edition at one point, so it could be as simple as your truck is built and they’re waiting for wheels or some other part or parts unique to the trail edition at the port.

Full disclosure: this is speculation on my part, not based on any concrete info that I have access to.

So I have seen in some responses that once the vehicle was built they could put it in their “My Toyota App” and they could see vehicle status updates and tire pressures and such. Is that still true? I put the vehicle in the app. I see nothing and it shows a build date of 11-16-22. That’s a long time ago.

 

Got notice that the Tacoma I ordered in July was ready to be built.

@DragonPro23 What does Model: 7541B mean? The build sheet the dealer sent me when I put down deposit has a minor difference between the one you attached. It’s a small difference on a distributor installed accessory. The build sheet they sent had model 7541 with no letter afterward?

I believe the letter has something to do with the stage of production/transit. The important part is the 7541 which is the model code for a Trail Edition Tacoma.
