All these on hold we got a defective batch We are all getting junk trucks boys lol. Or maybe they just know we are anxious to get them so they are purposely screwing with us haha.

@DragonPro23 Have you ever seen a large batch of trucks all put on hold at once like this before?

 

I’ve only recently (the last 2 months or so) been checking a wide variety of VIN numbers for people, so I don’t really have a reference point.

I used to lurk around here while I had my ‘21 Off Road and only joined while I was waiting for my TRD Pro to come in. That was how I stumbled on this thread sometime in December.

I’m happy to check statuses for people here but I don’t really have any more insight into the inner workings of Toyota than most. As an organization they tend to play things pretty close to the vest.

 

May be looking at some sort of recall.

 

@DragonPro23 Definitely appreciate you checking statuses for all of us. Toyota does seem to play things very close to the vest. It’s amazed me how difficult it has been to get information throughout this process. And unless they just aren’t being up front with me it seems like Toyota doesn’t really even share much info with the dealerships.

 

It’s not just your dealership mine isn’t saying anything either

What trim levels are being held ? All of them or just the Off Road levels.

I finally got my vin for my SR5 build date is March 13-17.

 

Mine is supposed to be a Sport Access Cab, MT, but just saw on the dealer site its now showing AT, and doesn't show up at all on the main Toyota inventory page....

Maybe you can answer this. My dealer say they have no control over what PIO options are installed. Like bed light , door edge guards and etc. my deal no worries we can install but at twice the price.
Anyway to see the what’s on the actual invoice once it’s on it’s way to dealer?

Has anyone with a truck currently on hold gotten an explanation from their dealer yet? My dealership hasn’t mentioned it yet. I only know about it from Dragon’s status and my VIN no longer showing up in the Toyota API. I’m planning to ask my dealer about it tomorrow.

 

The VIN you gave me is definitely a manual trans access cab sport.
