Picked up my new Limited DCSB on Mar 10. It had a build date of 2/14/2023 with QFA of 9:43 AM of that same date. Love the truck...glad I abandoned the first dealer that is still waiting for the truck (on a 32 day and counting QC hold). That truck had a build date of December 2022.

 

I’d love to know what this stupid hold is actually for what’s wrong with this batch of trucks

Looking at one of the ship tracking sites there is a RORO (Salvia Ace) which departed 3/11 from Veracruz that is probably carrying Tacos arriving in Newark the 19th or so. It last arrived in Newark Feb 28, did anyone have their trucks arrive there?

 

I believe my truck was on that ship, been sitting in Newark on hold ever since as far as I know.

I'll admit you checked a VIN for me already and I greatly appreciate it. But, in a moment of sanity (or weakness, not sure yet), I was able to switch my order to a Magnetic Gray Metallic vice the Barcelona Red. I kept seeing that gray in the wild around here and it was too much/looked too good. I was always a bit panicked about the red, worried that I might grow tired of it quickly. No offense to red owners....color preference is a very personal thing.

 

So after chastising someone for playing with our emotions, I'm gonna go ahead and do the same. Just got a call from my dealership, says the truck is off hold and maybe a week out or so (it's currently sitting in Newark). Confirmed its now showing up in the Toyota tracker API.

will update if/when I actually take possession of vehicle.

 

Mine’s still not showing up on Toyota Tracker. I guess it’s still on hold. When was yours built? Wonder if they will come off of hold in order of build date? Mine was build 1/31.

 

@TacoShredder20 was yours on the 63 day hold that started 2/14? Mine was built 1/24 and is still not showing up on the tracker site.

 

Can someone list the URL for the tracker site? I looked through the thread and probably missed it. Or, it's something only a Toyota "insider" can access. Thank you! Eagerly awaiting my truck!
