Reached out to my dealer to swap my deposit to different truck that met the same specs (OR 6MT Prem) and there were only two within 500 miles that weren't spoken for already and one was in the same QC hold and the other wouldn't be here until late April. So I'm sticking with the original truck and just going to wait it out. This is New England region.

Sounds like the Tacoma market is still very hot even at the end of the generation. Maybe Toyota should take note that people want manual transmissions and N/A engines :)

I would say nearly most of every TOYOTA model comes with it in the SE region. You have to spend some time to find a dealer that has one allocated without it. Best way is to visit https://exploretoyota.com/ (this is Southeast only) and begin your search.

Example, Stokes Toyota Beaufort in South Carolina, has some cars that have it and others that don't. They actually have a TRD Pro coming that does NOT have the Toyoguard. That one is of course already pre-sold -- though it doesn't hurt to get your name on the list in case the buyer backs out.

New 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro 4 in Beaufort # | Stokes Toyota Beaufort

You can also see the options list for that Tacoma here > https://exploretoyota.com/inventory/3TYCZ5AN7PT129388/

Interesting that you have departure information but no arrival information? Maybe I'm reading it wrong

Anyone else in here stuck in the QC hold or was recently released from that hold? Specifically in the Long Beach port? I’m hoping things are moving

the way I take it is it went to Veracruz and then got put on hold and has been there since I guess. Or it’s moved but no one can see those details

I’ll bet it’s sitting at Veracruz because the next stop is overfilled with vehicles getting whatever fixed because of the hold. Possibly getting fixed in Veracruz as well if they have the ability.

Finding a 6MT LB was brutal, didnt see one allocated in NE for 3-4 months till I found mine. I get MT isn't as popular these days, but I feel like with these trucks it is, I can't understand why they wouldn't build more, cause during that time, plenty of dealerships had ATs all over the place, just sitting on lots unsold, even some LB. Give the people what they want.
