How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

The toyota tracker site doesn't seem to provide much more information than the official toyota website unless I'm missing something. @DragonPro23 has been the most useful resource I have found.

I have also done a little digging and found some possible info. The Arc Resolve is a vehicle carrier vessel that is expected in Vera Cruz, Mexico today. I suspect based on past history of this vessel it will be headed to Galveston, Texas with our trucks. Then the Tacos will be put on their semis. All speculation though.

my dealer told me my truck should be at the port by the 26. I thought maybe he was bsing me lol maybe he wasn’t.

 

I was told last Friday it would be about a month until it arrives at the dealer. Sounds like we are hearing similar things. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on!

 

Annoyingly my dads Tundra is ready for pickup tomorrow and his was built a few weeks after my Taco. Though I suppose his being Texan built and mine Mexican built may have something to do with it logistically speaking.

That said I have been trying to track my dads and my Tacoma on toyota-trackers website ever since we had allocation. The only time that site displayed anything was when we had the temp. VINs. As soon as we had permanent VINs, toyota-trackers was never able to pull anything up (even now that the Tundra is ready for pick up tomorrow it still shows unable to retrieve data). Must be harder to track in Southeast Region than others. One thing I did notice is that his Tundra was pulled from SET Inventory site https://exploretoyota.com/ as soon as the dealer got it.

 

I still find it hard to believe the number 1 selling midsize truck is made outside of this country. Things were a lot simpler in Texas.

I know wish the Tacoma were still built in San Antonio.

Hey Dragonpro would you please check these 2 vins for me? 3tysz5an9pt136838 and 3TMDZ5BN8PM150409 Concerning the 2nd vin, I got a text from the dealer saying the truck might be in sometime next week but when I tried Toyota-Tracker the vin wasn't in the database. The dealer is pretty adamant that the truck needs to be picked up within 48 hours of arrival. Maybe a small lot?? My brother needs to set up the insurance but if the vin is incorrect then I guess we have to call the dealer...The dealership is in Grand Junction, CO. Thanks mucho.. The 1st vin should be no trouble.

I hope your Dad has better luck out of his Tundra than I had out of my 2022. The dealership I purchased from bought it back because it was so bad!

 

We were able to take a look at it today! Trust me, as nice as it looks and drive, I tried to talk him out of it. Told him to at least wait another 2 years for the kinks to be worked out. Oh well couldn't change his mind; let's hope he doesn't have to use the warranty as much :/

 

Looks like they’ll both arrive within the next couple days.
