I think you are right, WI has more LBs listed. I started looking around in March planning to buy after a trip in June (dumping a POS Silverado). Quickly realized the current delay game with Tacomas and how it is working. Then realized my requirements of OR or Sport DCLB were a little tougher to find and I am not into the LR or ELime (plenty of those around) and didn't want black to keep clean with my rural winter roads. Instantly wanted to get a deposit on an allocation if I could. Put deposit down late March. Madison did not have my requirements. I looked at Eau Claire, Wausau, and was trying to avoid Milwaukee but they didn't have much anyway at the time. Found listed and 'allocated' TRD DCLB Sports in Appleton. One silver was sale pending and one was open. But then they had the DCLB Sport in WCP and I snagged that. They still have two silver DCLB but in Sport. Plover has two OR DCLBs listed. I think Milwaukee has some, and Madison has some but in LR and ELime. Madison also has a few manuals, maybe one left in LR. Some are at MSRP but Madison I think will try the $1900 'paint protection' on a lot of listings. Some dealers won't list the options and prices or window sticker online. And some places insist on things like roof racks (I got stuck with it and hate it), and bed mats. Negotiation is in the trade in value. Know your value. I am just glad I did not have to try to go to IL or MN. Mine was built couple weeks ago but has to travel from Guanajuato and not Baja like most in this area. I assume because of the WCP. Hopefully it is all rail and no ship travel. Good luck.

It's been 2.5 years since I received my truck. I still enjoy following along with this thread seeing the joy it bring to others.

That's a nice truck and a long build process. I went with white because it was the only 6MT in the available build pipeline when I checked in January. I decided to take a boring color rather than hope I could get one built before they cancelled the current gen production (and almost certainly cancelled the manual transmission.)

What's the difference between build date and processing? Looks like sometimes that could be one day or one week. Can these trucks really be built from start to finish in a few days?

I watched a video one time it was something like 22 hours to build a truck on the assembly line

Hey @DragonPro23 , been lurking this thread since I put my deposit down. Dealer says "this week" and I'm seeing notifications in the app that the doors were opened after a couple of weeks in 'F' status.

Mind sharing the latest on my basic bitch DCSB OR in Lunar Rock?

Well just got a text from sales guy, and they just got an update saying truck should be arriving in 3 days! Toyota app now shows 2 miles on truck up a mile from original. We shall see.

How does it work? If you hit activate it wants to connect to the vehicle using your phone Bluetooth and the screen as if you’re sitting in the truck. Which obviously you can’t. If you hit ‘Vehicle Status’ it just show tire pressure and no reading.

I just click on health and alerts then on bottom click on see vehicle health report! I have never seen tire pressure readings either. Just shows status miles driven, smart key battery, and engine oil quantity. I know some guys have seen doors unlocked, etc, but not sure how that works.
